This adapter does work well enough, though I'm not sure that it's the fastest out there. It does reconnect without trouble. That said, it's a bit bulky and you will have to be sure that it doesn't interfere with cables or furniture bumping up against it.

Plug and play and works exactly as expected. You can't really ask for more than that. No issues, fast speed and good quality.

I recently purchased the Wireless USB 3.0 WiFi Adapter for my desktop PC, and I couldn't be happier with the performance! Setting it up was a breeze—just plug it in, install the drivers, and you're ready to go. The dual-band capabilities allow me to get speeds of 400Mbps on 2.4GHz and 867Mbps on 5GHz, which is perfect for all my streaming, browsing, and gaming needs. The included 5dBi antennas provide great signal strength, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my connection stability compared to my previous adapter. It's compatible with a wide range of Windows versions, from XP all the way up to Windows 11, which made it versatile for my setup.Overall, this WiFi adapter is an excellent product for anyone looking to improve their desktop PC’s wireless connectivity. Fast, reliable, and easy to install—highly recommended!

I prefer a wired Internet connection but have no control over that as a guest in my sister's rural home. I brought my gigantic tower workstation but had only a decade-old USB wireless adapter. My frustration was endless. I stumbled across an advertisement for a modern USB Wi-Fi adapter and felt stupid for not thinking of that on my own. I went looking for a new USB adapter and found this interesting device. This USB 3.0 adapter arrived with a mini-CD and 20-page instruction manual. It has a USB-A port for connecting to a computer, which is perfect for me. The actual instructions are simple: Install the software, plug-in the adapter and enter Wi-Fi info. I'm fussy about installing software on my workstation but went through the process. I chose Windows on the installation screen and entered Wi-Fi credentials for both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands on the Internet router. I set 5GHz as default. Connection to the Internet went easily. My VPN connected effortlessly using this adapter.I've had this USB Wi-Fi adapter only a week but that's enough to notice the difference. My connection is solid all day every day. Bandwidth is obviously better but I can't measure because I don't control all devices on the LAN. My subjective take is that my usual websites are more responsive. I'm typing this review, in fact, using this adapter.Given the circumstances here on a farm, I'm surprised I get a good Wi-Fi connection and reliable Internet access now. That makes me very happy with this adapter.

My desktop does not have WiFi, and I need that capability to be able to communicate with my astrophotography telescopes to download images. This adapter fills the bill quite nicely. It comes in a nice box with a color manual, a mini-CD and the adapter. I did not use the mini-CD as the adapter was a seamless plug-and-play on my Windows 10 machine. It seems to be pretty sensitive as it identifies several networks in the vicinity. (I live on 2 acres and neighbors are not close.) My internet service is Verizon 5G. I ran the Ookla speed test to compare my download speeds between my ethernet connection to the Verizon router and the WiFi adapter connection to the router. Ethernet was 304Mb, and the adapter was 297Mb. Communication with my telescopes is reliable and seamless. Mission accomplished. If you're in the market for a WiFi adapter, I have no hesitation in recommending this one.

This WiFi adapter will not win any speed test competitions, but it provides decent WiFi communications on Window 10 or Windows 11.Unless your computer uses this device while being in the same room as the router, then the chance of getting this device to connect at the 5GHz frequency is slim. This device seems to connect mostly at the slower 2.4GHZ frequency, which is rated for a max rate of 400Mbps. I noticed the actual Mbps rate drop significantly the further I got from the router. If you have any internet speed plan rated 300Mbps or lower, then this device should fit your needs.

Just did a search for something that will allow the desktop to use wifi instead of relying on ethernet cable. This gadget was the solution, plus extra USB ports were ideal for augmenting the desktop number of USB ports available. Desktop can be use in any room wifi reaches in the home now.
