Plug and play Win 11. Running speed test I am getting 55mps. I have 200 mps service and do believe I get that with newer Intel Nics. Not super fast but it's working with no dongle plugged into USB.

I purchased this card for a Linux PC (Mint 22 Cinnamon), because the MoBo Wi-fi (Realtek chipset) was very troublesome with Linux and has no official support. I didn't want to rely on USB adapters as even the costly ones seem to wear out quickly. Hopefully the larger form factor leads to a longer lifespan due to better heat dissipation. The card was plug and play with my OS, and so far has worked perfectly. The speeds aren't amazing, but ~5MB/sec is still faster than the ~1MB/sec I was getting with my little Panda USB Wi-Fi adapter. The signal strength went from ~50-55% on the little USB adapter to ~60% on the PCIe card thanks to the card's larger dual antennas. I ended up using the magnetic antenna that came with my MoBo on the card, since its extension cables allow for placing it in a better position and I was able to get ~70% signal strength. So far connectivity has been good. I've streamed hi-def video for hours with no issues.

I thought this was going to be a pain to set up, but Debian Linux (LinuxCNC) recognized it right away. So far so good!

I needed to upgrade an older Dell workstation to have Wi-Fi. Super simple installation and setup. No problems, works great!

This goes into a pcie slot. Very simple to install. Comes with two antennas and the chip. It has a wide and smaller metal frame for different size cases.First startup it did not initiate the device properly. If this happens I would recommend going to device manager (right click window icon) and uninstalling the device (It’s name is along the lines of “Qualcomm wifi chip). Then restart the pc. If this does not work then change the slot the chip is connected to and do the same uninstall/restart procedure. This is a comment regard 2.4ghz and 5ghz. The 2.4 is fine and is better for longer ranges and going through walls. I have always used 2.4 for gaming and have been fine. Keep in mind this product does not have Bluetooth. It is also wifi4 limited to 300mbs (newest being wifi6). This device will get the job done but if you are paying for more internet then perhaps buy and upgraded chip.
