I have recently gotten back into sausage making, and cured sausages need to reach a certain acidic point before being smoked, so the only way to test the pH is with an accurate device. But what do you do with the pH meter when you're not using it? No one makes a case for the one I bought here on Amazon, so I needed to improvise. This was the third one I tried . . the first two were too small . . . and the third time "was the charm." The pocket inside the top I use to hold packets of pH buffer and an extra probe.

Good, sturdy hardshell, clamshell case.I have a pair of quite pricy condenser microphones, that I use as overheads on my drum set, and surprisingly, they only came with a closed cell foam insert in a cardboard box.As you can see from the photo, my two mics fit perfectly in one side of the case, when positioned in a 'Yin-Yang' arrangement.The other side can be used for spare mic clips, plug-in mic preamps, etc.Now, my mics are protected, have easy access, and the case fits easily in my gig bag for transport.Obviously, this would work great for a single, standard-sized vocal mic......for which it is actually intended.Inexpensive insurance for your microphones(s).

The microphone that I got this Yoteso Hard Carrying Travel Case is slightly smaller than the case itself, so to keep it from moving around too much inside, I put the sponge windscreen on it, which acts like shipping cushioning. The case is a molded hard case; it is a synthetic (nylon?, polyester?) material over what seems to be a plastic layer underneath. The inside has a soft material so it won't scratch your mic but not too much cushioning.For the price it's something to protect your mic with, but it's not the be-all-end-all in microphone protection. But at this price, you really can't expect that.
