I needed this shield for the wires leading to the crankshaft sensor which is next to the exhaust down tube on my race car. Works well

Easy to work with , seems to do its job very well. Make sure you use the metal zips to keep it in place ... would buy again if needed. Thank you

It worked for our hotrods , helping to cool the fuel , also installed easy ! When cutting across the velcro the thead may come loose . Used metal ties to secure or small rivet end of velco thread or heat resistant glue .

I used this to insulate the fuel line ofthe 8.1L Vortec engine in my Workhorse motorhome chassis. This build is known for fuel pressure problems, including fuel pump failure and vapor lock.I insulated the fuel supply and return lines near the engine, and where they pass close to the driver's side muffler. The material is easy to install without breaking fittings on lines. It's a strip of aluminized fabric, with velcro on each side. Cut to length, wrap it around the line and press the velcro together. Done.
