Screwed this into my insulated garage door and it works great. It holds the rods as the door goes up and down with no issue.Would buy again.

These rod holders work very well. I’ve got one mounted on the ceiling of my camper, the other in the garage. I love fishing and am glad my rods are more organized now, rather than stuck together in the corner, where I’d have to untangle them. Keeps them up out of the way and safe from getting damaged.

Quality is just fine. Plastic but all it has to do is hold a fishing pole out of the way.

Easy to mount. Plenty of storage for poles. Would have been a five star except for cutting and installing protective edge protectors.

The plastic pieces to protect the rods against the metal are a p.i.t.a. to install and fall off.. will probably apply flocking with adhesive backing

I installed this on my garage ceiling to hold fishing poles. The issue that I have is that the mounting holes are not 16 inches on center like most ceiling joists are in the US. That means one side of this rack is going to be held in with an anchor or toggle bolt. Some of the deep sea rods and reels that I have are a bit heavy and I didn’t really want to trust a sheet rock mount to hold the full weight. I wound up having to use a piece of 1x4 wood and attach that to the joists and then attach this rack to the one by four. The other issue I had with this is with the rubber liner that is supposed to go in between the plastic rack and your fishing pole. The rubber liner is not curved. It comes as one big, straight piece. You have to cut it into small pieces, but it will always want to return back to its original straight shape, rather than following the curve of the hole in the rack. I tried heating it up to change the shape with a heat gun, but it didn’t do much at all. I put cuts into the rubber liner, and that worked a little bit better, but still not very well. To top it all off, as you move the fishing pole in and out of the rack, that little rubber liner is going to want to pop out because it’s still trying to return to its straight shape. Where they stayed in place, I left them. Where they fell off, I threw them out.

si tus cañas son para agua dulce, el producto es útil, sin embargo si tienes equipos para agua salada, las cañas no caben en la ranura. toma en cuenta esto cuando adquieras este producto.
