Unlike traditional helmets, the Wipeout encourages kids to assert their individuality by creating and customizing their own inspired designs on the surface of the dry erase helmet. Each helmet includes five non-toxic dry erase markers in assorted neon colors, as well as a stencil kit with eight awesome shapes so kids can make an art project of their helmet before heading out to ski, snowboard, sled, or play in the snow. When it’s time to come in for hot cocoa, the helmet can be erased and a new design created for the next day of snowsports. The Wipeout Dry Erase Kids’ Ski and Snowboard Helmet features an ABS hard-shell for safety and durability, and complies with all industry safety regulations, U.S. ASTM F2040-11 safety standards for snow sports. An essential addition to children’s ski gear, the helmet also features comfy earflaps, a cozy liner, neck curtain, goggle clip, and padded chin strap. Set includes helmet, five dry erase non-toxic markers, and a stencil kit. Available in two sizes for both girls and boys: Ages 5+ fits head circumference 49-52cm; Ages 8+ fits head circumference 52-56cm. For most accurate measurement, use a string to measure the circumference of the head. Manufacturer’s 180-day limited warranty.

I don’t recommend this helmet for young adults teenagers who will be riding a bike at night as there’s no lights on the helmet. But for the day if you have an adolescent child, this is an extremely fun helmet to have and it fits well. It works well and is exactly as advertised.

Bought for 11 year old daughter- she loves the ability to design her own helmet. The drawings do fade after a long day of skiing but she didn’t seem to mind. Seems as solid as the other brands in terms of safety- recommend.

We got these for our boys (6&9) for Christmas. They are padded under the chin more than any helmet I have seen. And they get to design them differently as often as they wish. Super cool idea and well built helmet.
