This pot is big, but you can gather that from the other reviews. I can also attest that it is extremely well made. The aluminum is thick, there is heavy duty riveting, and the stainless inserts are strong. It is obviously made for the abuses of a commercial kitchen.The inserts hook to the outside rim of the pot for draining or filling. I did need to pry them open a little bit extra with a flathead screwdriver to make them loose enough to engage the pot.The pot measures 14 1/2" diameter and 7" tall, so 20 quarts is accurate. It took me about 25 minutes to bring it to a rolling boil from cold tap water. My stove is a residential kitchenaid 5 burner stove with an advertised 18,000 BTU central burner. This may not work on a lower end cook top.This is awesome for my family of six with three growing boys. We each get what we want without it taking hours and food going cold.

This thing is huge !! I didn't expect it to be so large -- just wanted a pot to cook four different veggies at the same time whilst camping , hunting and fishing !! On saying that it's built to " military standards " . An Abrams tank could track over this pot and do no damage to it !! (Don't know how the Abrams would fare ? ) But I just love it , it's going to well used in the Aussie outback , the only thing that I really need is a lid as it takes ages to boil on a propane gas cooker . This pot definitely gets my vote !

This aluminum pot is high quality at a low price. We use it daily in our restaurant. The only down side is the coating on the handles. They were peeling from the top when I received my box, maybe due to manufacturer packaging. They are also not heat resistant. Ours have all melted from the heat on our stove. Overall this works for us.

Although the pot was listed as used, it looked new when I received it. The pot is very heavy and large. However, there was a problem when I received it. The interior bottom of the pot was marred, leaving a black residue. I discovered the residue was oxidized aluminum, not good when cooking anything. I intend to return it ... the aluminue residue can make you very ill ... it's been linked to altzheimers disease ... NOT GOOD!

Serves its purpose and allows for a variety of pasta to be prepared individually. No more arguing with the kids about what kind of pasta they want, because we can all satisfy our specific tastes.The quality of the aluminum is commercial grade and heats up quickly. 5 stars without question.
