Purchased in 2023 and was hopeful to get at least two years, maybe three, out of the cover. It seemed pretty durable and the fit (24ft) was perfect. But, I noticed this week the cover has ripped to shreds, granted we get pretty bad winters, but I have never gotten less than two full seasons out of a cover. Now I am looking at my liner with at least one more month of serious winter weather, and I am thinking I need to purchase a new cover to put over this one until I open it up in May-June. Not sure if I will purchase the same cover or look for something different.

We have an 18 ft x 52” pool, we live in Nova Scotia Canada with cold winters. We bought a 24 ft cover so that it would cover the sides of our pool as well for more protection since we didn’t take it down. This has been covered in water, snow, and ice and has held up very well and gives us peace of mind that our pool is protected. We give this pool cover 5 stars, it’s a good investment and well worth the money!

The quality of the cover is very good but the widget that that tightens the wire to hold pool cover in place arrived broken. I know a few other buyers had issues with this.Overall, I gave it four stars caz of the widget being broken. We had to buy a replacement. The actual widget that comes with the cover is a cheap quality.

Well, living here in the Northeast of Pa., the winters are relatively mild, yet unpredictable, however I have gone thru my fair share of winter pool covers. As I just got a new pool this year, and it was time to buy a cover again, I looked for weeks at this cover online, but just couldn't pull the trigger due to its price point (until now 🙃). Well, the cover was delivered, and the box was handed to me, and I really wasn't shocked by the weight of the box (felt heavy, but comparible to my last one). HOWEVER, after unboxing it, it was clear that this cover is without a doubt quality. The color is nice, but the toughness of this cover is "hands-down" much better than any I ever owned in the last 35 years! I'm not saying there are mot better winter covers, but I am saying that it's the best I've ever dealt with, and I've had at least 10 by now. I can honestly say that I'm very pleased with this purchase, and hope to get many years of use.

The cover itself is really nice. The ratchet is pretty bad. Doesn't lock in or stay taught.UPDATE: So the seller reached out to me and sent me a new ratchet. It is a little better built and holds tight under load. Because of the outstanding customer service, my rating goes to 5 stars.

I ordered an 18' pool cover a couple of years ago because it looked as though Yankee Pool Cover had a very good product. They also had a 2 year warranty. This year as I was getting ready to cover the pool, I noticed some holes in the pool cover. I contacted Yankee Pools about the issue. They asked me for some initial information and upon providing it, I was advised that they had a new cover on the way. Wow! That just doesn't happen anymore. They have a terrific product and honor their warranty without making the customer jump through a dozen hoops and make them feel like they did something wrong. Going forward, I will buy their product again in the future and I would recommend them to anyone!

I bought this for a 24” round above ground pool but found it was WAY too big. Rather than return it, we made it work. Now we have a pool cover hanging about 3 ft over the side of the pool all around. I’m not complaining because the wind doesn’t flip it up as often. The cover is very thick and lays well on the pool. I can’t complain. Our older cover seemed to always have water on it and I’m convinced it was seeping through from the pool. We are able to drain all the water off this cover so it stays dry.

Thick tarp. Holding up well so far. Strap did break while tightening it but used something else to tie it. Still worth it for the tarp.

The 18 ft round pool cover with overlap I bought thru amazon from Yankee pool cover company has turned out to be a great and durable cover for more thickness than their competitors and the ones I've bought in the past, and they stand behind their warranty, case and point. The cover and cable are great but when we cinch up the cover with the cable winch, the winch fell apart. Long story short, I sent the Yankee co. an E-mail telling them about the bad winch and should be part of the cover warranty and without hesitation the Co. got back to me before the end of day and said a replacement Winch is on its way thru postal service. The winch came in a couple of days and is bigger and stronger than the original one. Bottom line, they care about their customers. Kudo's to this company, Yankee pool covers. Thank you, Yankee pool cover Co. and thank, you Amazon!

This is the first one that actually included instructions for use and care. Very easy to put in over the pool with just 2 people. This is thicker than the ones we've had in the past so hopefully won't rip in one season. Very pleased with it so far. Definitely worth the price and the fit is perfect comes with instructions for warranty

This 24ft pool is very difficult to find now. After the 3rd (2001)and best one I planted bushes all round (right down the end of the garden and so it is a lovely surprise when visitors come. I have also had steps up and a platform constructed round a part when the steps are. Make your own or get a carpenter. Lovely for stay at home holidays!Mind you - I am blessed with this lovely garden and I know how lucky I am.
