Packaging REEKED of onions. The entire first floor of the house stank for hours just from pulling the package out of the shipping envelope.But the cat bed has no odor. Packaging says it takes 3-5 days for it to reshape itself after removal from vacuum seal bag. It only took about an hour.The hood has so much material that it hangs down to the bottom. I had to lift it for our cat to notice the space beneath. She stepped her front paws in and looked under the hood then backed out. No further interest.This would be a good size for a couple kittens but not a grown cat.Just as shown in the video, this bed is super plush and lovely. Thick, soft, and cozy. Well made. Good stitching.Of course I immediately disposed of the reeking packaging so can't return. I took it out to the dumpster right away and don't want to bring it back in or even just cut out the label and bring that back in so I could make a return.It's THAT pungent.

I recently got my cats this amazing bed with a sleeve, and let me tell you, it’s been the highlight of their little feline lives. The moment I set it down, it was like they discovered their new personal fortress! Picture this: one minute, they’re snoozing, completely burrowed inside like two fluffy ninjas, barely visible but for the occasional twitch of a paw. The next, they’re diving in and out of the sleeve like it’s some secret tunnel to Narnia.My cat Luna especially loves to ‘disappear’ inside, with just the tip of her tail poking out—her version of hide-and-seek. My other cat, Oliver, waits outside, peeking in, trying to figure out how to launch a sneak attack. They’ve made a whole game out of it! And when they’re not playing, they’re sound asleep, wrapped in the soft, cozy fabric like they’re in their own little hideaway. I swear, they sleep better in this bed than anywhere else in the house.Even when they’re not in it, they’ll patrol the area around it like it’s sacred ground. It’s become their go-to spot for everything—sleep, play, or just lounging. Honestly, I think they’d move in there full-time if they could. This cat bed isn’t just a bed; it’s their new favorite world, and watching them enjoy it so much has made me love it too.

I bought the 16” bed for my two 6.5lb Devon Rex, along with a K&H heating pad. I cut a small slit in the bottom to place the heating pad under the bed cushion and it is perfect.

Popped this right open and put it on the couch. My cat Chloe got in it immediately. She’s tiny, only 6 lbs and this is the small bed. Any cat over 6lbs will need the bigger sizes. At first I thought it was might be too small for her but it’s fine. I think she really likes the built in cover over the top. Probably covers about 3/4 of the top. Kitties can still have their heads out if they want. Great value for the money. It’s soft and it’s got a little pad inside. I suppose you could even get a little heated plug in pad to fit under the pad. Even my dog is trying to use it.

My cat still enjoys this bed because I added a small pillow for her but this bed comes with zero padding on the bottom of it.I got this because I have a sphynx cat and I wanted her to have a bed that would keep her body heat inside of it while she’s on my desk.There’s more cushion around the sides of the bed than the bottom of the bed which makes no sense to me. And because there’s no padding at the bottom, you can feel the cold surface of my desk through the bottom of the bed.The “blanket” part that covers the bed, it isn’t very flexible, so she struggles to get under it and into the bed and most of the time I have to hold it up for her so she can get into the bed.She does still like the bed, and with some added padding from myself she is comfy and she stays warm, but if I had to choose again I wouldn’t buy it.

I bought 2, one for the dog, and one for the cat. The dog now lets me sleep. She sleeps in her bed and doesn’t try crawling under my covers. The cats bed fits nicely in his cat cage the he sleeps in over night. He isn’t litter box perfect, so we have to crate him at night. He likes the bed.

Since my cat is getting older, I wanted her to try a cave-type bed to stay warmer. But she isn't really a burrower, so I wasn't sure she would use this bed. The reason I decided to try this was that another reviewer mentioned their cat mostly sleeps on top of the half-cover. So I figured if my cat didn't like getting underneath the blanket portion, at least the bed wouldn't go to waste.Although the bed was compressed heavily for shipping, it resumed a normal round shape within 15 minutes of unwrapping it - take note, because that wasn't the case for another cat bed I bought! Once my cat approached the bed, I held up the blanket portion so she could see under it. It didn't take her long to step into the bed, and she was intrigued right away by the texture of the pillow under her feet. Other reviewers are correct, it's probably not as much padding as you want, but it's easy to add a small pet blanket for more filler. What's nice about the pillow is that it feels more like rubber foam than polyester batting - very substantial.The first week, I only saw my cat lying in the bed with the blanket portion underneath her. I wondered whether that was truly comfortable. When I press my hand down, there is definitely some slack, but it still seems like there is tension, sort of like a hammock. I figured she was mostly using the bed because of the novelty, and would go back to her old resting spots soon. But not only has she continued to use it, I have found her resting partly underneath the blanket a few times, using it exactly as intended. Success! Hopefully this will keep her from sleeping on my head all winter.
