I bought this to thin out cashew lacquer so I can seal some of my Japanese Natural whetstones that did not arrive already sealed. I know many just use clear nail polish, but I love tradition... I know that Urushi is the ACTUAL tradition, but Cashew Lacquer is the "new" way. lolThis stuff has a low odor which I appreciated so much as the fumes usually get to me when working with lacquers and turpentine, but this stuff was actually pretty pleasant in comparison!It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny!
