The cost of folding pipe metal saddle stands has gotten exorbitant. I found this quilt stand as an alternative, and from the reviews, saw that others were using it for much heavier tack than I needed it for. It works really well for my kid’s little Wintec leadline saddle and the pads and girth, as well as her helmet. We are uncouth horse people, and it lives in our dining room. I think it looks nice! It is not sturdy enough to sit on the saddle while it is stored on it, as you can with some stands, but it is definitely sturdy enough for storage - even beyond this generation of her tack, which she will outgrow. As has been mentioned, it was a pain to assemble; however, if you lay one curved end flat on the floor with the screws started and the dowels oriented vertically, then place the other curved side on top of them, it is much easier. I did it myself without extra hands, and it took 15-20 minutes, because I was also helping the kid with a book report. This was a good buy.

I am very pleased with this 6-rung Wood Quilt Rack in Antique Walnut. It is great quality. In my home I've placed it next to an antique piece, and the two blend together beautifully! Reviews from others regarding the assembly being difficult are certainly true; the pre-drilled holes at the end of the 4 dowel rods are a tight squeeze, which makes it nearly impossible to screw in the large screws manually. To solve this issue, I had to use a drill to significantly widen the pre-drilled hole. Thankfully other reviews warned me of this, so I was prepared to take on the task. In the end this piece is just what I was looking for: it doesn't take up too much space, and is a sturdy piece with nice details.

They need to have better quality control because the middle holes were not even drilled for the middle bars to go in. Someone should be aware that there were only four holes instead of six like there was supposed to be. That’s poor quality control if they’re letting things go out like this. I’m nervous to replace it because who knows how long it took them to find out this was happening before they corrected it. Which means there could be a huge batch like this. I ordered a second one and it was impossible to get the screws to go in properly and to make matters worse I could not even remove the screws so I could then box it up and return it. I am stuck with it and I am completely unhappy because I cannot use it it looks horrible. The screws are not tight and there’s no way to tighten them or to pull them out.

I needed a rack to hold some larger, random pieces of leather to store them between leather working projects. saw some people using this rack for saddles, so I figured it would hold up to the weight of multiple layers of leather (which it is more than able to do so).I saw some people mentioning difficulty in assembly. And there are some potential tight spots to be sure. This is how I did it:There are six rungs/bars on the stand. The top two and the bottom two have predrilled holes. The middle two (without holes) are held in place by the pressure of the sides (without screws). The predrilled holes are too small for the provided screws. I took a 7/32 drill bit and widened the holes on the four predrilled rungs.I started at the top and put the top two rungs in place but did not tighten their screws completely yet. I repeated the process with the lower two rungs and left them almost, but not completely, tightened. Then I slipped the middle two rungs in place before tightening all of the screws.I can definitely see the difficulty in tightening everything down if you used the existing screws in the predrilled holes.Happy with the product for my needs, and after those slight modifications, there was no issue with assembly.

It was hard to put together by myself. It would be easy with two people.

It is difficult to find a quilt rack, so i was happy to see this one. It is a bit pricey considering the materials. Of the 6 hanging bars - one was a bit short, and another was not well sanded and was not a smooth surface, which is not a good thing for hanging quilts. I would look elsewhere next time.

A very nice quilt and blanket holder and seems to be quite sturdy, which is very important!

This rack does what I wanted it to do - hold a big, weighted blanket. It's not awesomely engineered, but that's expected at this price. It went together fine and with some tweaking I got it to good enough for my purposes. Instead of the included single allen wrench, I used the same size tool that's part of a set in my toolbox; this allowed a better grip and much better leverage while installing the screws. I also learned to assemble it on a hard surface (not carpet) for a better chance of getting it level. For me, it does what I want it to do, it looks decent enough and quality is good enough. It is not a piece of fine furniture and you should not expect it at this price. FYI, it's made in Thailand.

It's a decent enough blanket rack. Not incredibly sturdy, but I mean it really doesn't have to be. It just holds blankets.Rated 3 stars because it was kind of a pain to put together and there were a few physical defects (shown in pics). That being said, the defects are relatively small and easily covered with the blankets. The more annoying thing was that one of the main dowels had a pilot hole on only one end, not both (shown in pics). Luckily I could just borrow my BF's drill and drilled a hole myself. Also I recommend predrilling the screws in to the dowlels before assembly. You can get better purchase on the dowels and get a tighter fit without the main legs getting in the way.Assembly itself is pretty straightforward and hard to mess up.It looks nice enough when assembled and covered with blankets.I'm kinda annoyed I paid 30 for something that I had to drill myself but c'est la vie, I did it and it's done now.
