I needed replacement hoses since my OEM ones were chewed through by rodents. This replacement hose seems to be OEM quality and fit my existing connectors perfectly. I also now have more than enough extra if this happens again.

Las mangueras son buenas, lo malo es que los conectores de plástico son de baja calidad y se rompen fácil.

My washer nozzles weren't spraying any fluid onto the windshield when I pushed the lever on my steering column so I purchased this kit. After removing the hood insulator I saw that one of the plastic connectors linking the hose sections together had disintegrated rendering the entire system inoperative. I used a straight connector from the kit provided, and linked the two sections of hose together. I clipped about a quarter inch of brittle and flared out old hose from each end to ensure a tighter more secure, and leakproof fit. Luckily, the new connector was of a sufficient length that the two shortened hose ends could be pushed onto the flared ends of the new connector without any other modifications. I tested it and the system is now functioning perfectly. This procedure necessitated that the eight plastic clip/rivets securing the hood insulator to the vehicle be replaced, as they all broke when I pried them out of their holes. It is advisable to have a fresh package of these at the ready as the old ones are very likely not reusable. (each make of vehicle is likely different so check your fastener part numbers) I determined the part number for these fasteners and ordered a generic replacement that worked perfectly. I was able to purchase a package of 100 for $12.00, less money than the dealership would have charged for the 8 that were required for my vehicle! The total cost to repair thus was about $20 probably one tenth of what the dealership would have charged. The time required for the procedure was less than 30 minutes including removing/replacing the hood insulator and the hose repair itself. Another successful DIY endeavor!
