These are fabulous in a crossover or car. Maybe it could be a little longer but so easy to use and blocks the sun well.

it blocks the sun so well that you cannot see through it at all. I am a short person and thought I would just leave this in place, but I quickly realized that it was a hazard because it limited my view out the side window severely. It covered about half the width of my Tucson front side window, sufficient to block a rising or setting sun from the side. If it went across the width of the whole window it could cool the car a bit on a hot summer day, but because it is opaque it does present a hazard to sight out of the side of the car.

If your eyes are sensitive to sun, these are great. Easy to use, and they stay put. I leave one on my driver's side window permanently. They last a long time....years for me.

These are terrific. No more flipping the visor back and forth as the road curves. The people who gave bad reviews did not read the description. They tuck up between the window and the frame, so of course they fall down when you open the window. They are very easy to adjust when necessary as you are driving, and totally block out the sun. As long as you push them up the whole way, they will not fall out or blow away when you open the door.

So simple and works great. No more blinding sunlight from my side window. Wish I had found this years ago. Highly recommend!

It really improves the driving experience, particularly on cars where the built in sun visors are frustratingly short. Works great in my 2012 Mazda 3, I'm 5'6" and it doesn't obstruct my view at all (if you were really tall, it might block some of your eye line). They do have a large logo on the outside, which is a little annoying, but not enough for me to knock off a star, it's easy enough to either cover with paint/marker/sticker, or possibly even scrape off if you were persistent enough (the logo is painted as a separate layer on top of the plastic. The two pack are two entirely identical shades, so that means the bigger logo is on the inside when the shade is used on the passenger side. These are stuck in the window with friction, so obviously if you roll your window down it will fall down, but they're easy enough to put up and down that I'm not bothered by it. It is certainly much easier than trying to get a cling to stick without bubbles, and I don't have to worry about it peeling off inside the door. (Also, I'm not quite sure if you'd run into legal issues if you attached "blackout tint" to your window... somehow this "temporary visor" feels less likely to get you in trouble.)One improvement I can think of is that it might be nice if the inside of the panel wasn't solid black... having that big black blob looks a little "overbearing" when you first sit next to it... I may get some grey contact paper to better match my car interior.

These work as intended, but are expensive for what they are. Despite the description saying they are made from polycarbonate (which would help justify the price), they are NOT. They are made out of a Teslin-type of material (synthetic paper), the same stuff they use to make cheap discount cards and stuff you get in the mail. We'll see how long they last. I expect them to slowly degrade over time. The giant logo printed on them is a bit of a turn-off as well. I'd rather not have a billboard for their product on the side of my car ever time I use them.

Other reviews state this product is made of paper. It is not. What I got was made of transparent dark tinted plastic that was about the same weight, flexibility, and thickness as a plastic binder cover or an old X-ray film (for those of us old enough to remember X-ray films!) :) The plastic is tough and should last a while. The product stays in place as a result of being jammed between the window seal and the glass, a process that takes about a second to perform. It does a great job of blocking rays coming through the side window. In fact, it does such a great job, I don't bother to try to use my car's sun visor for blocking the rays pouring through the door window because it is no longer needed. If you want a product that you can install once and leave in place as you open/close your door, this is NOT it. You need to take this product off your window before you open your door or it may fall off. It does not suction on to the glass and it is not a thin film that you install with squeegee and water. Save the package that it comes in and you will have a place to store it whenever its not in use. I like that it is removable because I don't use it on rainy days and I don't really want to apply anything to my window. This product looks very professional while in place but can be uninstalled as easily as it can be installed - about a second is all it takes. Simple and elegant solution that is very, very effective.IMPORTANT UPDATE: I found out the hard way - be sure to remove this item BEFORE you roll down the window. I made this mistake and felt like an idiot as soon as my visor blew out the window. I've already ordered a replacement and will not do it again. :)

I purchased this same item two years ago. The visors were well made of semi-rigid plastic and worked well. The recent delivery was of two pieces of soft plastic fabric with rough edges that might have been cut by a three year old child. They are totally unsuitable for the intended purpose and, in my opinion , a total SCAM. Do not waste your money on this item unless you can get real the version shown on the listing. These are a useless substitute. NO STARS

The cling shade is so easy to install and to remove. It fits even though our vehicle is rather small (a Prius). It allows light through and does not hamper vision but it does protect from glare. I wish that there was one for the front windshield. Worth the price.

Where has this item been all my life..??? Thank god - no more sun peeking around the edges of my sun visor and giving me massive headaches during morning or evening drives. If the sun bothers you through your side windows, when peeking around the edges of your sun visor, when it is low in the sky - buy a couple of these shades. You won't regret it.
