This did absolutely nothing to repair a minor windshield chip.

It really works! I don't usually have time to write reviews on any website, but I have to. This stuff saved me about $2,000 on a replacement windshield for my brand new 2022 Mercedes. I found a crack in my new Mercedes. My car is loaded with many of the latest automotive features, such as dashcam, HUD, 360 camera, 360 Guard, etc. So, having changed the windshield of a car for less than two months, I don't feel very comfortable. The only place I was reassured was at a Mercedes dealership where it would have cost me about $1800-2000. Even at the dealership, I still wasn't 100% happy with the idea of ripping off a factory-installed windshield after just 6 weeks of ownership. The dealer told me to try Safelite and have them seal it with resin. I wasn't sure if they could do it right, but anyway, I went to Safelite, where I was told that this small crack could get worse during the procedure. They only charge me $64, but I'm upset because it could get worse and then I'll end up sending it back to Mercedes to replace the whole thing. I took my car out of the Safelite parking lot and decided to buy this product from Amazon and give it a try. To my surprise, this product seals the cracks well. No one knows where the crack is! The crack is completely sealed and gone, I mean, gone!! I can't believe this thing works like this. This thing is amazing... Just get it and follow the instructions. You won't regret it, and you'll save a lot of money.

Quickly fix the chip to prevent a long crack! I'm debating whether to fix it or let it go or replace the windscreen? I started with a chip and a 6‘ crack, just within a week the crack grew to about 20’ long from the right side towards the bottom middle. This tool allowed me to repair the chip and the 20’ crack. I cut the plastic sheet in half lengths and since the crack is not super jagged the 1’ strip covers the resin very well. I ran it under a UV unit light for 10 minutes and then cleaned it up and noticed that you could still see the cracks in some places. So I redid the steps and used the remaining resin if someone pushes on the crack in the car to get the resin in it may get into the crack but I also found that if you push on the crack at the end it will crack more. After everything was done I could barely see the crack unless the sun was shining right on it and you could see the crack. It didn't spread any further so the $10+ effort and cost was worth it as the internet says new windscreens cost between $400 and $1,000 depending on where you get it from or if it's brand new or supplied by the car manufacturer. My windscreen will last until another crack/chip breaks it again.

While driving on the highway, a rock or pebble hit my windshield and startled me. Tiny damage, tiny cracks. Last year it was barely visible, and this summer I noticed that the cracks around the chip I was supposed to fix were starting to spread. Follow the above steps and instructions to reapply at least 5-6 times for 25 minutes each time. After drying the small chip is microscopic, I can not get rid of a small needle as well as a spider stitch in 3 places to be sealed. The crack won't grow. It's incredibly small at 1 inch. The seal is not completely removed, so it will not spread or damage the windshield.

I bought this to fix a 1’ crack in my windscreen that was hit by a rock on the motorway. I bought it after reading the reviews but was still very sceptical. It worked! I was surprised when the boobies on my windscreen disappeared! I showed the results to my daughter's boyfriend who is studying to be a technician. He was so impressed that he ordered a car to repair the crack in his windscreen. My little crack disappeared!I did take my time and followed the instructions as closely as possible. The initial fix took about 15 minutes, then another 20 minutes to dry it using the UV unit. (Just like the instructions say).

I was contemplating whether to buy this tool or pay a company to repair a nickel-sized spiderweb crack in my car's windscreen, so I decided to give this tool a try. This was my first time using a glass repair kit and the results were impressive! It takes about 5 minutes to apply, then another 25 minutes to dry, then a few more coats. The instructions were clear, but I also watched a YouTube video before I started. I included before, during and after photos.

Picked up 2 small rock fragments from a dump truck at 80 mph on Interstate 380 😑 Wanted to patch it up before winter spreads further. The process was simple and looked great. Obviously if you look close you can still see it, but at least it's better protected. Comes with lots of patches and a bottle of ‘glue’. The inhalation part is reusable. Let it dry completely before driving or the plastic patches will fly off.

I'm really, really impressed. Having spent $170 on a patch at Safelite, I thought I'd try this first. Mainly not wanting the chip to spread, I don't think it will really fill the 4 little cracks around it, but from the outside you can hardly tell it's there. It was clearer to see from the inside, but I couldn't see with my eyes, and I was glad.
