I ordered these about 1 year ago and have been using these planter for all sorts of plants. Although these are plastic they have great drainage and I guess the overall shape helps prevent root rot which is something I have struggled with a lot with other plastic planters. They fit a lot inside, and fit perfectly on my windowsill. By the way, the undertray sticks to the planter so no mess when watering or moving things around. Great price, pretty to look at and very practical.

For the cost of one clay, fiberglass or Rubbermade planter, I got 12 of these. They are not super heavy duty, but I didn't expect that for the low price. The plastic is flexy and about as sturdy as a jug of liquid detergent, or dollar store plastic tote, etc. Snapping the base in place really firms things up. Color perfectly matches ceramic/clay pots and planters. They are very attractive and will hold up fine in locations where they won't get hit with a Weed Wacker or mower. We use them to pre-plant flowers and take to the cemetery. In the fall, we'll gather them up to reuse next year.

The quality that the make out in the write up is no where near what is actually is ..The bottom trays fit but don't attach well to the flower boxes ...They will do the job ..But they are not worth the amount of money they are charging to the tune of over $60 once the smoke cleared .. I bought them because they said they were well made and sturdy ..I disagree .. They are very flimsy ..Try some other item if your looking for something that will last ..I will not buy these again ..

Overall, these will work for what I'm doing. But, as others have said, the locking posts on the water basin were almost all broken off or cracked, that means leaks, so inspect closely. I'm using these in a grow area where water leakage isn't a huge issue, but it is something to look out for. As for being sturdy, they'll work for you if you're not going to move them around a lot. I would still buy more, the price is good for them regardless of the imperfections.
