It's still working after a week. We had to watch it and bend the leaves so they wouldn't hit the post and eventually break. Otherwise, it's beautiful.

The blade part of the windmill works great if the vane was allowed to move. The windmill is directly attached to the 4 part pole if the top extension is loosely attached the vane can pivot, however the pole is now loose. This probably would not be a problem if the wind came from the same direction all the time allowing a tight pole, which is not the case in our yard.

This spinner is beautiful to look at and fun to watch BUT there are problems. I threw the box away so returning would be a problem. When the capped end is fully in place it stops the spinner from spinning. If you loosen it just enough then it continues to work itself loose and eventually falls off. Working with the cap and a little glue solved this problem. Another problem is that one of the ground anchors broke while placing it back in the ground after repairing the end cap. And this spinner is not even a week old. I have several other spinners and have never had this problem before. So disappointed in what I consider a beautiful spinner. If I could I would have given it a 2 and a half.UPDATE: I received a new spinner and it is perfect. Beautiful to watch and colors are amazing. Easy assembly, took all of 5 minutes. If you like spinners then I highly recommend this one.
