This is a very beautiful spinner that is ready to hang in seconds. Just fluff out the sections, hang it outside, and enjoy the show. Beyond the enjoyment of optical illusions and pretty imagery is the fact that birds will avoid the naturally reflected flashing light. So, if you want a non-invasive method to protect your garden without harming birds, spinners are a terrific option. I have bird feeders in one area of my backyard, but do not want the mess that accompanies birds roosting over my porch. Hanging these has worked perfectly to deter without menace or danger to the birds. The spinners are also just plain pretty. I love having the shiny things dancing around whenever a breeze flows by. With several in the right light and wind, it's like having mini firework displays. The kids love them and so do I.

My wife reviewed this item:I got this for my dad because he loves to decorate his lawn with whimsical, and typically patriotic, items, so this was absolutely perfect with the American Flag design. He hung it in a few different places, hoping that the wind would give it a good twirl. Sadly, all it got was indifferent movement. My dad and I joked that maybe it needed to be in a wind tunnel to get any movement. Ah well, at least it's pretty!

This is an excellent wind spinner that looks beautiful from any angle. It's very well-made, durable, and it looks excellent from any angle. And since it spins with any small amount of wind, you don't have to worry even if it's facing away from you since it won't take any time at all before you can see it again. It's painted clearly and beautifully on both sides, and it looks exactly like the pictures, so you'll be happy wherever you put this; I suggest somewhere that gets some sun to accent the colors!The only downside I can see with this is that you'll have to bend it yourself. It comes flat, so you need to 'spin' the inner part to a little bit of an angle to help it catch the wind. That's clear in the images and description though, as well as being standard, so it's really reaching to even call that a downside.The wind spinner is nice and lightweight, with the included hook doing a great job of letting the spinner, well, spin, without interruption any time there's even a slight breeze. The paint is the real star of the show, it appears to actually be a thick enameled layer on both sides of the spinner, which means you can even feel the different layers. It looks great and it also helps make sure the spinner resists water, so it shouldn't rust or corrode any time soon.There isn't too much to say about this spinner just because it's ultimately a painted and cut sheet of metal that spins in the wind, but don't let that fact discourage you from getting it. It's the best spinner I've seen in terms of quality, it looks gorgeous, and it's a great bargain for just around $20!I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.
