The fork seems to be of good quality but be aware that the 6.5 inches refers to the exposed metal section only. The overall length is 12.5 inches!

I was expecting a fork that 6 1/2 inches long - it is 12 1/2 inches long, so felt the description was not accurate. From tip of prongs to start of wood handle is 6 1/2 inches long.

This is a very good pot fork, but be warned it would be a better BBQ fork than an indoor cutting fork. Good quality but not a 6 1/2 inc for more like a 12+ pot fork to be used over a hot bed of coals. Well worth the price just takes a lot of space in my knife drawer.

One little detail not included: The tang section is 6 1/2 inches long. Overall, the fork is closer to 12 inches. However, well made but not what I was looking for. Returned.

The description said 6 1/2 inch fork ( I am trying to replace a favorite wooden handle fork that my Mom used for cooking and gave to me...)When it arrived, I realized that the description must have been referring to the metal part ONLY. It should have said total length. It is not what I wanted but it really is a good quality item for very little money.
