It’s sturdy but light, bakes evenly, and is easy to clean. These mint chocolate chips cookie brownies were delicious! Cooked through (almost crispy corners) and moist inside. Great buy, and affordable too!

I needed an 8x8 pan and went with this one since I have other Wilton aluminum baking pans and have never had any issues with them. This pan bakes evenly like my other Wilton pans. You will need to grease the pan well if cooking something that will stick and may need to soak it in warm water for a while after, but it cleans pretty easily. I have not noticed any staining on my Wilton pans but I don't cook anything acidic in them which could cause staining. Some reviewers complained of issues removing the label sticker inside the pan. I went slowly and it came off easily -not much adhesive was used- maybe they corrected this issue. The label on the side came off easily also. Definitely recommend this pan.

I've had many Wilton cake pans. You can't beat them anywhere. I do prefer the performance ones over the non-stick and they don't last near as long or cook as evenly. The coating wears out and eventually gets to where cleaning them is a pain. They are good but not decade pans. The performance pans are awesome. I've been using them for 45+ years. Someone made off with mine (7kids :) ) so needed to replace it.

I bought this pan to make a half recipe of focaccia bread and it did not come out good. I usually make my focaccia bread in a 9x13 Calphalon cake pan that is very heavy but it makes too much for two people so I thought I'd buy this smaller pan. It is a VERY thin, lightweight pan. I oiled the bottom of pan heavily with olive oil like I usually do but the focaccia stuck to the bottom of the pan like glue. The bottom, besides being stuck was a beautiful dark golden brown but the top of the focaccia was still raw. The thinness of the pan ended up cooking the bottom very quickly and left the top raw. If I would have cooked it longer the bottom would have been burnt. It ended up being thrown out. I don't know what I'll use this pan for. Maybe brownies???

when I got this I had tgo straighten 2 of the sides and even the bottom of it so it is thinner aluminum and so it can be bent if you get overly aggressive in the handling of it now I do not mean it is like aluminum foil I just mean it is thin enough being aluminum that it could bend easier than other pans

It's not the most sturdy pan, but because it is lightweight and at a lower price point you can't expect it to be super durable. It gets the job done and if you end up dropping it and make a big dent in it, no problem, just get another one, but pretty sure you won't. It's well made and you'll end up using it more often than not once you have it!

This pan makes great brownies and squares. A little butter and flour goes a long way. Easy to clean. I would buy this product again.

I got rid of my microwave years ago and my stove oven is just too big so I use my small counter top oven almost exclusively. I put the countertop oven on my covered porch to cook in summer to keep the heat outside. My neighbor like that idea but doesn't have a covered porch so she puts hers on a counter in her shed. This pan fits perfectly inside my small countertop oven. I own 4 of them now. 2 with covers and 2 without covers.Pros of pan1) fits perfectly into my countertop oven2) heat is distributed evenly3) The sides of the pan are high enough so that I can put a variety of frozen vegetables on the bottom of pan and then add a raw hamburger patty (from samsclub) or a precooked but frozen chicken breast, or a piece of salmon, etc. on top and then cook everything at once. Or I will add a chicken breast let it cook and then dump vegetables on it later so everything is cooked in one pan.4. Not easy to scratch however it can scratch but doesn't rust when it does - just cosmetic5. DOES NOT RUST - I purchased several pans from the commissary and they rusted like hell had to toss. This is aluminum does not rust.6. These pans do not break. I have a lot of glass Pyrex bowls/rectangular glass dishes and the Walmart similar glass bowls/dishes. Glass breaks, are very heavy, hard to move from home to home, don't stack up as nicely and are harder to clean than these pans. In retrospect, I should not have purchased the Pyrex.CONS OR NEUTRALPans are made of aluminum which some people believe builds up in a body and causes Alzheimer's. I am not worried because the convenience outweighs the fear if that is true. I don't drink diet sodas, use a water filter and do other things to cut down on health risks so hopefully it will all balance itself out.

The metal is sturdy and a good thickness. It's a simple pan that works as it should.

I love the pan, and it would have been five stars if not for the scratches and dents. I got a replacement, but that is also not exactly very smooth.
