I would give this sifter 5 stars bc it sifts very well, but I’m disappointed there is no container to catch the sifted flour or powdered sugar. And the handle falls off unexpectedly when washing the unit.

I read a lot of reviews on here before I purchased it. Was nervous originally because some had said it wasn't sturdy or the turny thing breaks off easily.I am glad I listened to the other reviews and bought it though! It is pretty sturdy for what I have used it for (rice flour/not wheat flower) but what I have found is if you move the little lever thing back and forth as apposed to turning it 360 then the lever doesn't come off as easy or just make sure it is pushed in really tight and it will not come out that way either. Just use caution when removing it or it could break.I do not store anything in the bottom lid part thingy but I will at times leave the lid on, sift, then slightly open it when I need to gradually mix in flour while mixing it in. Seal on the bottom lid and the top lid are both secure. I've even shaken it to see if I could get stuff to come out. It didn't.I do not have a dishwasher but my kid says it's easy to wash (I cook, so kid does dishes). Likes playing with it in the water 😂 So maybe your kid, or the kid at heart will enjoy that part to lol.Overall I do give it 5 stars but with awareness to use it gently/not rough and pay attention to what you're doing when using it. I would definitely buy this product again.

I had my old sifter for 30 plus years. This is so much easier! The lid and bottom covers make it a dream to store!The turn handle falls off easily, but that’s a small problem on an otherwise fabulous sifter. Buying 2 more for my daughters!

Nice sifter. Easy to operate. However, it is a little tricky to clean around the screen but the old ones have the same problem. I washed by hand.

I realize that the internet and shopping sites are riddled with fake reviews to try to and trick us into buying things, but it's getting ridiculous. I find it hard to believe that so many people found this sifter to be a good product.First off, the sifting part that spins constantly scrapes the mesh and makes it hard to spin. i've tried to bend the mesh a little to make it spin freely, but it hasn't helped.Second, the fact that this thing can be switched from right to left handed sounds like a good idea, but it's terrible. The crank handle constantly comes off because the sifting part inside is constantly sliding over to the other side because there is nothing holding it in place. This thing should have come with some kind of cap to screw into the other side, opposite of the crank, so that the sifting part would be held in place. I don't understand how anyone could design something like this and not figure out that this was going to happen when they tested the sifter for functionality. I guess they didn't even bother to check if it worked properly or not... or if they did, they must have just cranked it a couple of times without putting any flour in it.This sifter is just one more example of a product, in a long line of cheaply made, garbage chinese products, being vomited onto consumers to make a fast buck. COMPLETELY USELESS GARBAGE!

This revolutionized my sifting experience! I had an old metal hand squeeze sifter from my mom that broke, so I needed another. This was so easy and fast! Why didn’t I switch sooner?? Highly recommend. The handle can be flipped for right or left handed siftersEasy to clean, but don’t put it in the dishwasher. The heat warps it. (I found this out the hard way). But even with the warp, it still sifts perfectly, but the lids don’t fit anymore.

Me encanta el diseño y la idea de que se pueda usar con cualquier mano, soy ambidiestra y me ha servido mucho, lo que no me gusta mucho es que la manija no tiene como atorarse y si la giras del otro lado se suelta. Aun así vale mucho la pena.

Just what my wife needed. The old metal one was not easy to clean. This one is great, easy to use and clean. The softer handle comes off so it’s very easy to store. Good purchase.

Wishing I had read the reviews. I liked the design and the fact it was a Wilton product. I have arthritis in my thumbs and can't use the squeeze type sifters. Loved the idea of a crank handle to save my hands. It works fine and is easy to clean but the cran handle falls out constantly. I'm going to put a touch of super glue on the threads and hopefully that will hold it in there. for $8it's not worth the trouble fo rme to pack it up and send it back. I'll take more time to read reviews in the future though.

I make one recipe that calls for a lot of sifted flour. I would dread making this (cake) just because the sifting was such a pain. My old sifter finally broke and thought I'd give this one a try. It works perfectly! So easy! And yes, easy to clean too. Highly recommend!

Muy buena herramienta se la compre a mi esposa le ha servido bastante de hecho deja la harina según ella bien delgada por lo que puede usarse para mas postres de los que tenia planeado un poco incomoda para los que son zurdos pero se le puede cambiar el lado a la palanca para tener mejor agarre fácil de limpiar y no se tapa con la harina.
