Boke easily. I thought it would be great to speed up packing wool with multiple needles but didn’t last a week.

I was mostly interested in the felting pen--a knock-off of the one from Clover. It works--it holds three needles close together for more rapid felting, and it feels like it won't break even with vigorous poking. However, be aware:The plastic is poorly molded so it is very difficult to untwist, and mine has a big shard hanging off where it wasn't properly trimmed. Definitely cheap!Good needles are painted to color code size. The paint makes them too big to fit into the holes of this holder, so you can only use no-name needles (generally bad). Note that Clover's tool also requires buying their brand of needle, so at least no-names are cheaper. Most needles are so long that the cap won't fit when they're used.

I like the small one, the needle grouping works well for all sorts of techniques. The large one, however, is noisy and cumbersome.

I am new to this so maybe it’s my fault but the tool broke the first hour I used it. So I’m thinking it’s not sturdy enough for a beginner. I am going to buy a kit for a professional. …..It does work however, just not sturdy enough for me!

As I took it from the box it came in, I was greeted with a light poke in the palm of my hand, because the lid that goes with the 3 needle pen style is cracked and no longer will provide protection. I gave some wool a few test jabs and immediately one of the needles broke. Why because the holes aren't truley straight. And any needlefelter with the littlest experience knows what happens > when you don't stab straight, you brake. So upon unscrewing the top it reveals that there is rust between the needle tops and the plastic. Removing the needles i had to use a pair of toothed needle nose pliers (yep for real). Then I decided to inspect the 7 needle multi stabber. And the holes also are not true to straight so i haven't even attempted to use it. Needles to say I have to return this purchase. I feel it is dangerous to use when one has to use pliers to take out and put in barbed needles into a unit with a protection cap that won't stay on....not good my friend, not good😕
