I guess I should have anticipated it since I picked the cheapest one on Amazon. The outer tines each bent backwards within 15 minutes. This particular product should only be used in soil that is already fairly aerated. When it is in clay, the metal is not sturdy enough and even small roots bend the tines. I'll keep using it to un-compact the garden as it's fairly loose already but will need a sturdier one for harder soil.

This tool is making my life so much easier to take care of my horse with wood pellets in his stall. It makes clean-up easy. It is well-made and sturdy.

Pretty rough casting with deep pitting in the forks which isn’t helped by crappy paint job. Good handle and hasn’t broken yet, although we only use for turning compost, for which it is a bit narrow and heavy. I expect the forks are actually pretty tough as they are quite rigid.
