I worried about the initial smell but now know it was because of the wool treatment. I have purchased many different socks because of tightness and circulation pain. These socks are perfect and stay up! I recommend them to any one with my problem. Diabetic and gold toe socks, no more. I am ordering more . Absolutely the best I ever owned.

Good old fashioned comfortable socks like I wore in high school. Class of 1963. Pricey? Yes. But I love them. Ordered a second pair in large size. Extra large a little too big.

My husband won't wear anything else. Has worn them for many years.

Like the title says. A little loose but still stay up. After a trip or two through washing machine, they'll be a little more snug.

For the price, I expected 3 pairs of these wonderful all-purpose wool socks. I was blown away to discover that £13 (>$20) got me only a single pair! Padlocks to that! (as they discretely say here on Amazon.co.uk).

Several years ago I ordered some wool socks for my husband from an online company. Those socks were amazing - they were much thinner than regular wool socks, very lightweight, comfortable, and stayed up beautifully. And, in spite of their "flimsiness", they lasted for years. Out of 6 pairs, we still have 3 left - and I think they are about 10 years old. Well, for some reason this company does not make that product any more, so I went on a search for another brand that would measure up. The Wigwam socks are the closest I've found. They are a bit thicker, but very comfortable. The only complaint my husband has is that they do not seem to hug his leg as well - they tend to droop after a full days wear. I will keep searching for a replacement - until then, the Wigwams will do.
