Just look at this. How amazing this camera is. You can't even see it. I was suprised with the angle of view. I don't even expect much from this little buddy. It did everything I needed to. Can't ask for more. It's so simple and well hidden. You need to plug it into a wall as it doesn't have any batteries. This is it - you don't need anything else.

This is the most reliable camera I have ever had. It has no batteries, so I can use it daily to monitor my garage.It's a great idea to make a wall camera that doesn't need any wires.It's well-hidden and uses the Tuya app. I prefer to use the app that I've already installed SmartLife.It's just as simple as it should be. It took me four minutes to install the camera. I don't have much time to deal with tech. After twenty minutes, I was at work and it worked as intended.Btw, you can use your own minisd card if you have one. I don't trust any cloud options, you know it's better to keep your data on your own side.

I absolutely love the Alpha Tech WiFi USB-C Charger Camera! This device is extremely reliable, and the motion detection feature works flawlessly, sending instant notifications whenever there’s activity. The video quality is outstanding, both day and night, with clear night vision that captures every detail! One of the best things about this camera is how discreet it is—you would never know it's a hidden camera! It looks and functions just like a regular USB-C charger, allowing me to charge my phone or Bluetooth devices while keeping an eye on my home. The wide-angle lens provides an amazing field of view, and I love that I can zoom in and out on both live and recorded videos! Setting up the camera was super easy, thanks to the clear and detailed instructions provided. The Tuya app integration works smoothly, and Alpha Tech even has detailed videos about the product and how to setup, which were a huge bonus. Plus, their customer service is top-notch, and they even provide a warranty on this device!I also have the Alpha Tech Clock Camera, and both products have been absolutely amazing. I plan to buy more as gifts for my family because these cameras are worth every penny! The peace of mind I get from being able to check in at any time is priceless, and the motion detection alerts keep me informed when I’m away. So discreet, clear picture, easy setup and even easier app that will sync all your devices to the same spot. Motion recording or 24/7. I’m telling you this is an awesome product and well worth the cost. Nothing in the market compares or can come close to the great price paired with the features you get with this. And when they say discreet, they mean it down to the stickers for the back to hide the SD slot.

I didn't read anywhere that there was no sound to this. Not the end of the world, but should probably be in the advert somewhere rather than just in the instruction manual when you receive the item. For that I deducted 1 star because this could be important to some folks.It gets hot. While it does mention that in the instruction manual, it still worries me. I might not feel comfortable leaving this plugged in if I'm going to be gone for a couple days.It's very sensitive. I had this plugged into an outlet low at the bottom of my bed, my bed is pretty high, just to test it out and I kept getting notifications of movement even when I wasn't moving. I was watching tv so it's possible that it was seeing the lighting changes from the tv, even though the tv was several feet above the outlet this was plugged into. That was a little annoying, so not sure if this one is defective or just super sensitive, too sensitive.I do like that you can open the app on your phone and see what's going on but, the getting too hot part is too much of an issue for me. My biggest fear is a house fire when I'm not home and my pets inside, so this isn't something I would use.

If you travel a lot and stay in hotels I like to know if the maid service has been in the room especially if I have a do not disturb on the door. I have a setup that I use for traveling: Small router, extension cord etc. When traveling I like to have my router which is setup to wireless bridge mode (that means connect router to wifi, then connect to router also over wifi) that means I can setup the camera to connect to my router and never have to change it for that setup. the extension cord is for my laptop and router but also so that I can point this camera from a corner of the room to capture the whole room and I am not limited to a section or certain direction based on the plug location. Some other great use cases I can see for this are catching a child who isn't being truthful about something that repeatedly happens, secret monitoring for a baby sitter or nanny, and cash box monitoring in a business or somewhere one would look for a camera.One thing I was disappointed with was the lack of sound. I didn't see it mentioned in the description anywhere so I just assumed it would have sound but it does not. This is also a very good option for catching potential cheaters.

Device occasionally gets knocked off line and would be so much better if it had night vision. Low light causes blurry footage.
