  • ✅ Variable Length, Highly Secure, One-handed BCD Snap Hook Application: Pick your distance. Either 6.5’ ft or 4.5’ ft length for close in hook up, or riding higher for the wide angle photo shot. Additionally, because of the extremely strong, yet soft and pliable nylon ribbon webbing, this allows you to simply wrap it around your wrist at 5.5’ft hand held distance to hook-in point to point, as it will not hurt your hands even when pulling in strong current.
  • ✅ Precision Forged 316 Stainless Steel Hardware: Marine grade solid 316 stainless steel, this rig will never corrode and is specifically developed for hazardous conditions that demand extraordinary safety, high strength, and a rust-free product.
  • ✅ Tactical Grade 1480D Ballistic Nylon Storage Pouch: This pouch has both waist belt and BCD attachment points. No need to meticulously repack with each use. Once finished, just stuff it in the pouch and keep diving.
  • ✅ Optimum Angled Chiseled Tip Hook: The wide jaw opening allows for ample hook placement for both rocks and reefs. Dimensions are 5.2mm (~.25 inch) X 13.5mm (5.25 inch) with a 7.5mm (3.0 inch) wide aperture and 45-degree chisel tip.
  • ✅ Ultimate Underwater Utility: Made to last a lifetime. Great for tech and sport diver’s alike.

Our ultra soft 1/2" nylon webbing is easy on the hands yet extremely strong. We stitch five (5) complete rows and then X stitch every one of our attachments with a 3" overlay using 100% pure nylon thread.

Reef Hook

The Best Stainless Steel

Forged 316SS hook is custom sized to allow for a better fit, it has a 45 degree chisel tip that bites into the attachment point as the diver moves higher within the reef. QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: Where do I keep the hook when not in use?

A: The hook is stowed in the pouch and normally kept on your BCD waist strap. Its a good idea to put it back near the tank so its there on every dive and can be used anytime theres current during the dive.

Q: Will the hook rust if it's left in the pouch wet?

A: Nope, never. All components are 316 stainless steel and can be submerged permanently. That said, it's always good to wash down the hook and let it dry between trips.

Q: What the round ring used for?

A The ring designed to allow you to hook in at roughly four feet or six feet off the reef, your choice. So now you dont have to compromise on length since all other hooks are fixed length. The hook is 9mm, really strong, my friend's daughter hooks into the ring so she can hang directly beside her dad, we never considered using it this way, but its versatile enough and it works.

Q:Why the flat 1/2" nylon line instead of rope or string?

A: Because it's very soft on the hands, and doesn't knot. You can make a hand sling using the snap hook and the ring, we often use the hook this way to swim around in the current hooking on and off the reef frequently as we move around bommies etc.

Q: So this hook is unlike all the others, why?

A: Because we're divers, we frequently dive in the currents, this is where the big pelagic's like to hang out and so do we. We wanted a hook that was more functional because we tend to use the hook as a tool to move around throughout the dive. Nothing on the market allowed for this, so we designed one to suite our needs. Then everyone wanted one...

This reef hook works well to hold me in place in strong currents while I take photos or videos.

Used it in the Maldives in very strong current and worked great. Having a nylon strap instead of a thin line made it easy to use. I preferred to attach the clip to the ring, put my hand through the loop, and watch the world go by. Carry bag is great. Quality is fantastic.

I like the carrying case very much. I used this reef hook in Bali diving and worked well. Would recommend.

Ich habe mir überlegt selbst einen zu basteln, da mir die üblichen Riffhaken nicht zugesagt haben. Mit diesem Haken habe ich das gefunden, was ich mir vorgestellt habe. Tolles Teil für tolle Tauchgänge!

I just bought this. I came back from the Maldives and my friends had this exact one and bought it off of Amazon. I didn't have one at the time and after using different ones from the boat and then theirs, I was hooked! No pun intended. Haha this is a great reef hook!

Little pricey, yes. Will a cheap reef hook do? Sure will. But this hook is great if you want to splurge.Used it in Komodo recently. Solidly built. Love the extra ring sewn in, which allowed my dive buddy to hook into my line in a pinch. No complaints.Only thing I noticed is that the bevel on the hook should probably be reversed so the tip sets easier.

I like the hook size and shape. Also, the two lengths option. I replaced the boltsnap to a regular one, as I consider them safer.

Just received this item. I can't wait to use it. I wish I had it on my recent trip to The Maldives. We needed reef hooks a fair amount, due to currents and photo/observation moments. The hook i had always had to be wound up, and fumble around to stick it in the pocket of my BC. This one is gonna be so much easier to work with. Love the variable length adjustment. Even when shortened up, it's got a great length. I definitely recommend!
