I received this snap hook today and I am impressed! It is the Wichard #2481 75mm or 3” 316 stainless steel with a working load rated at 1056 lbs. It is a hefty piece of hardware and I got it to use as a key chain. And it is a breeze to put on and take off of my belt loop. And there’s no way that it will accidentally come off. It’s superior to my trusty old snap hook from Home Depot. I’ve been using one for over 10 years but the spring has become loose and most of the chrome plating has chipped off. But this Wichard isn’t plated and there’s not small spring to wear out. And as easy as my trusty hardware store snap hook was to use, this is even easier! What an amazing treasure of a find!

I’ve been buying thes snap hooks for over thirty years. I use them for keys. Snap this to belt loop on your jeans and you’ll always have your keys. I give them to friends as gifts and they’re always very popular.

My dad was in the Navy was a sailor and gave this to me and my brothers as a gift to add to our keychain. It always reminds me of him and how I enjoyed sailing with him. I decided to keep the tradition and buy some for my children and I gave to my daughter's boyfriend. He was thoughly impressed at how useful it is. I highly recommend it. Do not accept any substitutes.

This is one of the most valuable 'finds' I've ever made.I can attach my key ring to a belt loop, zipper pull, wristlet strap, crossbody bag D-ring, grocery cart, etc.It hangs neatly on a 3M Command hook on my front door.This has been a life saver for me.It's also very high quality.

Wichard hook will last forever. My original one is 26 years old... for my work keys. Still as good as new. expensive, but in this case, you get what you pay for
