This is #2 I've purchased. I sold my last home with the frig and wasn't going to buy another but missed it so much I purchased it again. I find this frig very reliable. And am very satisfied with the quality. The 1st one I had for 3 years with no issues. If you are a wine lover and have limited space I recommend this frig.

Like some of us, I never write reviews. Good or bad, I know they help brands and consumers but just do not put the time. On this item unfortunately, I just want to spare future customers a bad experience by sharing mine. I bought this wine fridge in December 2018. After 2.5 years and while being in a safe location in my apartment, the left side stopped working. These things happen but the issue is the technical support and their process which basically makes us, the consumer, responsible for repairs, shipping and therefore nearly impossible to execute. In short, warranty is only one year so the manufacturer Whynter Innovations is fairly well protected because not much happens right away. However one would buy a fridge like this for 5 to 10 years minimum so...For them to repair your fridge you need to send it to them at your own cost. And pay for a return label + labor/repair which in my case was about $150 for the latter part. To ship it to them I have to find packaging and pay shipping (probably a couple hundred dollars) but just there it's impossible for most of us to put a 75 pound machine in a box with "special protection" inside etc. That's pretty much it. Other reviews on this item suggest that it can die on you with no reason after a couple of years. My issue once again is that they do not take care of their customers to unable them to get it fixed. I will have to discard the appliance which price varies between 400 and 800$ so they should be more accountable for their defective equipment. Get another brand folks! Save yourself the risk/hassle.

This fridge is amazing. Very quiet and excellent dual zone temperature control. Highly recommend.

I love this duel zone wine refrigerator. It is very quiet and was easy to install and set up. It has a blue light inside, and has two zones, so I use one side for reds and one side for whites. It was delivered by a delivery service, and I was able to coordinate the delivery based on when I would be home. I have had no issues thus far, and the wine is a perfect temperature, based on the settings.

it looks good, but i did order this exact wine cooler 3 times (twice from amazon & ones from best buy) and every single time the unit arrived smashed on the bottom part. so besides that the delivery guy that might be rough handed, i think it must be a flow on the design that that exact part is so soft...

This thing looks great and holds plenty of bottles, however it is LOUD. Not just the hum, but also some type of gurgling noise. It's easily louder than my Samsung (full size) fridge and Kenmore beverage fridge combined. Our cabinets are still being built so I'm hoping it will cut the noise down once it's fully enclosed, but if you are planning to have this exposed on any sides or as a standalone, steer well clear of it.UPDATE: after having it installed in a built-in wall unit for a few months the noise was cut down quite a bit, although still audible. That being said, we are used to it now and don't even notice it's on unless we're in the dining room. Good purchase except for standalone installs.

So as our 25th anniversary gift to each other, we wanted to a spare no expense type deal with everything within budget. So that obviously was the tough part. We got a a great deal on our 48" Viking stove from a local closeout store. That and our brand new Subzero basically blew through our appliance budget. I desperately wanted a Uline but the wine refrigerator was an optional appliance in our plan and after talking to a builder friend of mine I was pointed in this direction. Whynter isn't widely available but this model is very worth considering. Well designed and with a width that was exactly the gap in the cabinets that I was trying to fill so that made it a much easier sell to the wife. The price was what really got me. It you want a gorgeous wine fridge that you can fit into almost any remodel budget, this is probably the ONE you're looking for. Heavy trimmed shelves with flawlessly smooth dual doors. It's every bit as nice as in the pictures. The performance is what I was expecting, but I'm impressed with how low decibel it is under the counter. The most important thing is you don't notice it around until it catches your eye. The top and bottom areas are perfect for Champagne or larger girth bottles, but the rest of the shelves are a tight fit. Simple solution is to remove shelving as needed depending on your collection. We are both glad we made this part of our project.

Overall: It's not a bad wine fridge.Pros: Great aesthetics. Looks great when professionally installed under a counter top. Dual zones are a cool (no pun intended) feature. Reds and whites are kept at appropriate temps.Cons: First one delivered had all the front windows smashed in. Second delivery appeared to have been dropped causing a huge dent in the front. THIRD unit delivered (now I'm really committed to making this work at this point) looked like it was dropped as well with a sizable dent in the back left corner. Since this was going to be installed under a counter top, no one would ever see the dent so this was damage I could live with. If you manage to persevere through the delivery/return process (Amazon was extremely helpful), do note that the fans/compressors are somewhat audible on this product. Not noticeable when the TV is on or when you are having a conversation, but you can hear it when quiet. It's an expensive product, so potential customers should factor that into their decision making process.
