It appears to be study and of a good size, but I never got the chance to use it. Mine arrived with no instructions - just a two-part frame, a dozen unmarked bars of different sizes and a bunch of screws and washers. I wrote to the manufacturer, as suggested, but never heard back. I then called and had them send me instructions. I tried again to install it and found mine was missing "pre-installed" pieces described on the instructions and necessary for assembly. Overall a waste of time and inconvenience for me. I cannot recommend it.

I love these drying racks. Plenty of space, efficient, good heights, sturdy. We own several. They do need a significant amount of assembly though. Set aside an hour and some patience if using hand tools. They arrive without any of the cross slats installed. Make sure you install them on the correct side of the side assemblies, the cross slats go INTO the large holes in the sides. Lots of Phillips head screws. Would go faster with a power tool.

Bought this drying rack to dry out our bathing suits and towels after a day at the pool or beach. It's one of the best ones I have ever used. It opens with one hand and once open is very sturdy and stable. Its long width makes it easy to dry beach towels. It won't trip over in the wind due to its wide base. Assembly is a little tricky, but with two people (an extra set of hands) nothing that difficult, we had it put together in about 20 minutes.

This is a very sturdy rack and has lots of hanging space.I didn't find instructions but it is pretty easy to figure out. Some of the screws, or could have been the tubes, were hard to catch on. In the end I had to put a spacer on one tube to keep it snugged, but it works fine.I use a laundry center my my building and am hoping using this will save me some money.

As others have said, this rack is a bit challenging to assemble, but with patience I was able to do it by myself. I really like that it is wide enough to accommodate towels. I can easily carry it out to my patio to dry clothes in the warm months. Inside, I can use it in my small laundry room if I don't open it all the way. It folds up nicely for storage. The bars are thick enough that they don't create a sharp crease in clothing hung across them.

So I read a lot of people's reviews and fortunately all of my holes lined up "enough" and it came with all the screws and washers and mine seemed brand new. As for assembly, it's definitely not that difficult. It just requires some patience and assembly know-how. By that I mean things like don't tighten any screw until all the screws are at least threaded in the holes they're supposed to be in. This gives you some room to move it around in the event that you need to make adjustments before you tighten it.I assembled it in 25 minutes between meetings because the load in the washer was about to be finished. I started by putting one side on the floor with the holes where the rods go facing up. I then took the screw and washer, put them in from underneath, lined up the rods from the top, and turned them onto the screws by hand. Essentially the rods were perpendicular to the floor and pointed straight up/down. The screws were pointing up to the ceiling. This prevents cross threading because anyone can tell you when you are working with metal and screws once you cross thread it's pretty much over and you'll never get that screw in correctly without retapping the hole. I didn't read the directions and i noticed that some of the rods had large holes without screwholes. Those go where the joints are. Get all of your rods screwed in on one side, put your 4 or 5 in the large holes and let it sit upright with all of your rods pointing up in the air. They will flail all over the place that's fine. Now this is where I found in another review that he kept his in the position mine was in and just put the other side in on top. This I found to be the spot that needed the patience since the rods are all flopping all over the place and not playing nice. I ended up just taking it one at a time, starting from the legs closest to me, lining up the rods and screws/washers, and just barely getting the screws in to stop it from flopping but not tightening all the way. I even found that I had to lift the piece I was trying to screw down off enough to get the screw to line up to screw in to prevent cross threading. Once I was able to get all of them in, and yes as I lifted pieces to get other legs in and others fell out, this is where the patience comes in. But just take your time and move from closest to furthest and it should work.Once I got them all lined up I tightened up the screws, stood it up, and tightened all the screws down. I want to note, as someone else did in some review somewhere, that it seems flimsy with those tiny chains being the only thing keeping the weight of everything together, but I will deal with that if/when it breaks. As far as I can tell I love it and it's large and in charge and fits the bill perfectly because our old one was wayyyy too small. I'm excited to try it and will let you know how it goes. Just wanted to share some assembly tips, which hopefully help some other people.

This clothing rack is great. It's big enough that you can hang towels without folding them. It's quite sturdy. You can put quite a bit of clothes in one shot without them all touching each other. We had no trouble putting it together, but we were 2 doing it. I would definitely recommend this clothes rack!

This thing has so much space for hang drying, it’s awesome. Bought to replace my Walmart hang dry rack, included pictures for size comparison. It seems really sturdy and like it will fit a ton more clothes.Cons though.. and why it’s not 5 stars. I saw a review about it being too hard to assemble and the person just threw it out. I don’t blame them because this was a lot more difficult to assemble than it should have been. Some of the poles are threaded and some aren’t. The ones that are threaded aren’t done that well so it’s hard to get the screws in. That being said, it is possible just difficult, and it took a while to figure out that that was why it wasn’t working. Additionally, it has 2 chains at the top and one was put on twisted so the rack doesn’t open as wide as it should. The cons are small manufacturing errors that I think I’m ok with, but I understand others would be mad about.Only other thing is that it’s made of metal not plastic/wood like my other rack so it is significantly heavier but still 100% manageable, it’s not actually heavy just heavier than I thought it would be.

I love this product. It's not too big and bit of extra space to hang non tumble dryer items in my laundry. It did arrive with a bit of a paint scuff/scratch so not perfect but didn't want to return as there were none left according to the site. It doesn't bother me now. Good for a small space, if I had a larger laundry I would want something bigger.

Products looks amazing, bought 2 for my laundry room. The only thing is we added screws to the bottom of the unit to make it more secure to the wall. It only comes with screws and plugs for the top. This is why I rated 4 out of 5 for durability.
