Looks good and feels good. Very comfortable.

My right ankle is particularly weak following an accident and I get spams in my foot. These shoes are comfortable and keep my ankles aligned to avoid rolling and puffy swollen ankles. They also promote better walking technique because I can roll up on my toes when other shoes cause walking flat footed. Great price, too!

I usually purchase the big brand name (crazy expensive shoes) in wide widths and decided to to try the Whittin "wide toe box barefoot sneakers" on a whim. Wow! The room for the toes is superb - no more pinky toe squishing at all. I wear a women's 7 and went with the 37.5 wide and they are absolutely perfect. I did replace the factory insoles with my preferred after-market brand as I always do in all my shoes, and these super lightweight bad boys feel like I'm wearing slippers even though they look like sneakers. So comfy. It'll take me a bit for me to get used to the minimalist barefoot sole and feeling everything underfoot because I'm used to chunky soles of "traditional sneakers". Anyway, so far I'm really loving the box wiggle room, and I hope they hold up. They do seem to be built and put together well; I'm happy that I stepped out of my boring box and tried something new to switch things up a bit. I won't be wearing them during my 12 hour shifts on concrete floors at work, but for home life they are amazing.

Love the overall appearance of this shoe. Super breathable and lots of room space. Perfect for doing weightlifting exercises. I ordered a size 8 in black. Wouldn't recommend to walk with these long distance as there is not enough cushion to support your feet. These are so perfect for the house as well if you like to be barefoot.

Pros - lightweight, the heel doesn't rub hard in the back, wide enough, price.Cons - I'm usually between a 5.5 and 6, ordered Euro size 36 and my toe rubs right up against the front of the shoe. I figured I could live with that. The bigger issue is that after wearing this shoe for 3 times, about 30 mins each, I'm experiencing significant hip pain. I have worn other sneakers with pretty slim or no arch support (but not marketed as minimalist) so not sure what's happening here. Maybe more of a break in period? Not sure I can return them at this point but I would if I could.

This appears to be a quality product. It is comfortable and fits well enough but it is really too wide at the toe box. What concerns me most is possibly tripping over my own feet and also driving my car with the wider shoe could cause a problem clearing the pedals so I will return them. But if someone needs that extra width it is here.

I normally have to try on dozens--if not more--pairs of shoes before finding one that *almost* both fits in the toes AND will not keep slipping off my heel. Nothing ever fits completely right. Imagine my surprise when I put these minimalist shoes on my feet and they fit PERFECTLY. I'm thinking of buying a second pair as house shoes since they're comfier than my slippers! These technically come in European sizing, but the listing has US sizing. If you wear US 7.5, the "7.5" size in the dropdown will probably also fit you perfectly like they do for me. If you wear Euro sizing and alternate between a 38 and 38.5 normally, I recommend to size-up. (The ones they're selling as 7.5s are somewhere between a Euro 37.5 and 38 in terms of length)They look a little goofy when I look down at my feet, but they look way more normal from the perspective of others who are viewing you from the side or front. It's surprising how normal they look from a distance considering how silly they look (to me) from directly above. So if the clown shoe aspect is a concern of yours, I wouldn't worry too much about it with these shoes. It's very mild.I tried on some Xero shoes a couple days ago and they were both stiffer and less comfortable than these much cheaper Whitin sneakers. As far as longevity, I cannot say how they compare. But I do recommend these shoes to anyone and everyone who has similar feet as me, i.e., wide toe box, narrow heel, average arch height, average foot volume. But if you have high foot volume, narrow feet, or very wide feet, these probably won't work for you.I've never had shoes that felt GOOD to walk in before, and I've been wearing shoes for over 40 years. I'm low-key in love with these sneakers at the moment. It's a bit too early to tell for sure, but I suspect that they are helping keep my foot issues from flaring up as much (plantar fasciitis/heel pain, mild morton's neuroma, mild big-toe arthritis, peripheral neuropathy/numbness from shoe pressure). When I stepped out of bed this morning, my heels didn't hurt at all. It was wonderful. You're supposed to ease yourself into minimalist footwear, but as someone who normally goes barefoot as often as possible, there was no adjustment period at all for me.Care has been extremely easy--I have a light color upper, so they get dirty every other time I go out. All I've been doing is taking Clorox wipe and giving the dirty bit a light scrub and the dirt marks disappear. I'm not sure how healthy the chemicals in the wipes are for the canvas fabric in the long term, but so far it's worked well for me.The only "down side" is that I am now much more aware of how uncomfortable all of my other pairs of shoes are!If your budget allows, and you have feet like mine, you should totally try these shoes out.

I adore these shoes. I wear A LOT of barefoot shoes, and I’m always looking for other budget-friendly options (because spending $80+ on weird-looking shoes is not my vibe) and these really do keep up with the quality of others! They’re SO comfortable, durable, and I can wear them for my 8 hour shifts with no problems. I will warn you though, if you’re not used to wearing barefoot shoes, your feet may be sore by the end of the day, but that’s normal and don’t let that deter you. They’re unassuming as well, which makes them more preferable to me than my other barefoot shoes which have toes on them, so I wear these everywhere. They also run true to size, which is very helpful!Girl, don’t question it, just get it. These shoes are worth it.
