You can never have too much chassis stiffness. Weight aside, the more the better. Chassis bracing maintains alignment angles and spring rates by greatly reducing body or chassis flex. In fact, it helps every component in the suspension system do its job properly and you can feel the difference through improved turn-in, sharper steering response along with greater steering feedback.

This is a nice quality item and the stock photos don't do it justice as it looks great installed. Fits perfectly and is probably the best priced strut brace for a Z3.

Fit without any modification and made an immediate improvement to cowl shake, cornering, and rigidity over potholes/speed bumps and other road inconsistencies. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with a Z3 roadster

Great product quality. This thing is built really well and was a perfect fit for my 2000 Z3 2.3 with 2.5L motor. Very easy install took about 15 minutes. Really nice strut tower bar especially with the affordable price.

Fit my '97 Z3 2.8L six-cylinder with just one simple modification: make a small cutout in the mounting baseplate for the negative ground lug on top of the passenger side strut tower. After that it's a perfect fit.

Straightforward install. Lined up the plates and then started threading adjustable bolts in. Took off a star since the bolts are too long just ever so slightly, and I had to unbolt the plates and flip them to get them to fit, since the bolts had bottomed out. Barely fit on the strut towers but got em done. Looks good and can't wait to see the difference at the track.

Strut brace fit well, was easy to install and made an immediate improvement in the handling that I could feel the moment I left my driveway. The car feels more settled under hard braking, improving turn in at speed and during both normal and higher speed twisty turns. I had considered ECS and Turner Motorsport bars and I am happy I chose this bar that works well. A great choice for budget build that looks great and works well. I had ordered the polished aluminum but received black that I think looks great. I had to trim dust boots to fit but end result came out as though it was sold BY BMW this way!

I have a 2001 Z3 2.5i and this bar fits perfectly with no modifications whatsoever install took all of 10 minutes. Well built with decent welds and good materials. The tower plates fit the contours perfectly. The finish on the bar itself may not be up to some owners standards but it's under the hood and does its job. Overall a great value for the price paid.

This strut bar does not fit a E46 BMW e46 325ci convertible. I purchased it in February and I took out my car from winter storage today, went to install the strut bar and it doesn’t fit. The shock bolts do not line up with the holes on the strut bar.

I read before it fit, with a slight modification, even though it isn't in the list. It is a quick mod with a grinder, 14 inch by 1 inch grind, took about 15 minutes to install with doing the mod on the ring. The end bolts thread almost completely in, so there is piece of mind the without seeing a lot of thread. I live near a train track that crosses the road at an angle, I have to drive over regularly, the Z3 is much more stable crossing it. I also have a small tight round-about that the car is way more stable in. This was the first time I've ever used a tower bar on a vehicle I've owned and now I'm looking for another for my other car. I feel like its probably the best mod I've done for the front end stability in a car with struts and highly recommend it over just getting a larger sway bar. I drive my Z3 as it was intended to be driven, as a sports car, not a weekend driver with the top down, I take turns onto other roads as as fast as the car allows, and this mod feels great and gives more control and confidence in the cars ability, two thumbs up for the installation and use.

Doesn’t reach both sides. Stretched it out as far as I could before the end pieces came off and it still didn’t reach both sides, even though it said it worked for my car before I bought it. Decent quality bar otherwise.
