I bought the tent for my trip to an all inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic, I didn't want to fight people for beach chairs or get up early to "reserve" one. This worked out perfectly as we could set up where we wanted and always had shade and a bit of privacy. It also seemed to reduce the number of beach peddlers that bothered us.Set up is easy enough with two people and gets easier the more you do it. Only thing I would change is instead of feeding the rods through the sleeves I would like for there to be just hooks you attached like our backpacking tent. Anyway well worth the price and soooooo much better than a pop up tent that is impossible to get back down.

We decided to try this beach tent for an upcoming Florida vacation. It was relatively easy to set up indoors, but I can see it may be a bit of a challenge to set up if it is windy outside. It does fit 2 beach chairs with room to spare. Only complaint before we really use it, is that it is impossible to fold it back up small enough to put back in the carry bag.

So easy to set up! Used on Florida beaches and y’all know the wind is crazy there it was so durable. Never moved an inch! I had trouble folding it up and putting it in the bag but I believe it’s user error because my husband had no trouble at all 🙄

We took this with us in our luggage bag on the plane and used at the beach in FL. My husband was able to assemble this all by himself. Our family of 4 were all able to stay cool from the sun! Great price for the quality and size!

Bought this for vacation and it worked out wonderfully! The set up wasn’t hard at all as long as you have two people you can get it set up in two minutes. Taking it down is simple, just have to be mindful of how you’re folding up the tent to get it to squeeze back into the bag it comes in. Worked perfect for exactly what we needed it for. Held our things, let us get out of the sun if needed, snack breaks, etc. I definitely recommend! I did a lot of looking before purchasing one, but based on the reviews I chose this one. No regrets!

This is a quality beach tent. I purchased it because it was compact to carry. It is plenty big once assembled. However, it is an absolute nightmare to assemble. I put it together in the comfort of my home, with no wind, and I was worn completely out. I've never used it at the beach but could only imagine how difficult and frustrating it could be to assemble in the wind and hot sun.Nevertheless, it's too late for me to return, so this will likely become a camping tent for me. It's large enough for single person sleeping and all sides zip up to become enclosed.

Purchased this to keep in my car for beach days. Easy to setup. Thin material so it can catch the wind and fly up while you’re pitching it; so be mindful of that on any windy day or around quick wind gusts.I see it up by myself on a beech in Chicago on one of THE hottest no clouds in the sky day. Provided a comfortable spot to get out of the sun. I even fell asleep in the tent for a little under an hour and was comfortable and didn’t feel the heat bearing down on me.It has a loop at the top of the tent for a light or fan. I purchased a light/fan combo for my next time out.I think it can fit two adults fully covered if you lie the length of the rent or at an angle. If you’re wanting to simply keep the sun off of most of your body, you can fit two beach chairs and adults. As you can see there was space for my beach chair, my small cooler and my bag.4 pockets around the perimeter to place sand in it and serve as weights. I recommend you use quart sized ziplock bags and fill them with sand (or floral stones from Dollar Tree) and place those in the weight pockets. This will help with cleanup once you leave. Also purchased a lock to lock the tent if I need to make a quick run to grab food or to the bathroom. Simply gathered the zippers and placed the shaft of the lock through the holes in the zippers. Let’s be clear if someone wants to get your stuff they can. The tent isn’t Firt Knox but they’ll have to spend a little bit of time getting through the lock or cutting the tent itself. If you’re looking for a lightweight option for those impromptu beach or park days, this is a good option.

I have been searching for the 'perfect' beach tent for the past year. I ordered the WhiteFang Beach Tent Anti-UV Portable Sun Shade Shelter because it had high ratings. The comments which drew me to it were that the poles were thicker than the average poles. I received the beach tent two or three days after I ordered it. I immediately opened it in my living room. I purchased the mint, and the color is what I expected. Because I have set up several tents, the set up for this was a breeze. Yet, anyone who can read the easy-to-follow instructions, will be able to put this up with maybe a tiny bit of patience (if this type of set up is something foreign to you). This is a bit larger than I expected, which I am happy about. The day after receiving the tent, my husband set it up outside for my 5-year-old grandson to 'camp'. My husband is 5'10, and he is able to stretch out in it (parallel with the opening panel, with head at one side window and feet at the other). My grandson, husband, and myself laid down as though we were actually camping, and it had enough room for all of us to lie on our back. The tent is easy to take down and roll up, before placing it into the storage/carry bag. This all stated, I did purchase it to use at the waterpark this summer, as well as to bring when we go other places where we may want some protection from the sun. It is quite compact, and will easily fit in my suitcase if we ever go to a place like Hawaii (saves on tent rental on the beach). The entire front panel unzips, making one large opening. My 5-year-old grandson can lie down with his head at the opposite side (i.e. the back panel) of the front panel, and his feet are still inside the tent. I forgot to see how far my husband's feet came out of the tent. There are three vented window panels, one one each of the sides, as well as one on the back panel. Even with the flaps placed in the up position, a breeze will be allowed to come through the tent (due to the flaps not being zipped, but rather, held in place by loops). There are anchors that can be used to put into the ground in order to secure it down; and, there are pockets on the outside walls that can hold sand when at the beach. The material seems to be of good quality. With good and proper treatment and care, I am confident this beach tent will last a very long time! One suggestion I have, is to place a tarp/blanket type item under the tent floor to protect it from things that might poke a hole in it, or cause wear (we do this with all of our tents in order to protect the integrity of the flooring, and to help it remain in great condition). For this tent, I have a fold up picnic-type blanket that we have used in the waterpark over the past few years. It will be perfect for protecting our floor.
