What a great product! It’s super lightweight and can be affixed to even the roughest ceiling type texture. Once glued in place it’s solidly there. Looks great, easy to use, and goes up quickly. Very pleased!

I bought these to repair a hole in the bathroom ceiling due to a plumbing leak from the upper floor. I didn’t want to tape, mud, texture, and paint in case we had another issue in the future so I repaired the hole with drywall and glued on these tiles and they turned out great! I used Kilz mold resistant primer prior to painting as they would be used in a bathroom, and then 2 coats of ceiling paint before installing. To secure them I used Liquid Nails Fuze It 2000 which was recommended for foam ceiling tiles. They were easy to cut with a pair of sharp scissors and lightweight which made installation a lot easier on my back. I’m pleased with the result and would use again. If you’re considering these just note that oil based paint will melt the styrofoam so be sure to use only latex based products.

Here’s the simplest way to create a vintage look! These tiles are ultra light, but, look perfect. I used in original white and people don’t know they’re not original. I used Gorilla glue max to adhere and no problems after holding in place 10 seconds.

Took a while to find a budget friendly way to address the ugly 1950's cardboard tongue and groove ceiling tile. Painting wasn't an option as it would just absorb into the tiles. Removing and replacing with drywall would have been too challenging as the hall has a lot of angles and 2' x 2' attic access panel. These tiles were a saving grace! I ended up doing the job alone. If this ceiling did not have so many angles, it would have easily been done within an hour. But because of all the angles, it took me about 3.5 hours, including replacing the trim molding. I did not paint the tiles but did go around the trim with caulk. The ceiling is approx. 8' x 4', just under 43 sf. and used most of the 2 boxes I purchased, mainly due to having to cut angles and a few mistakes :) It's been almost a year and they still look great. Only concern I have is that the ceiling is height 7.5ft high. It can easily get dinged or damaged if someone goes through with a ladder anything tall. So be mindful if you plan on using it on low ceilings.

I recently purchased about 1000 sf of these tiles and installed them myself. Even though I was very careful to line them up, some of the rows would start to get off due to slight size variations. I had to adjust for this by overlapping some of the tiles by 1/8 inch or less. Even still, the final result is amazingly nice. We get lots of compliments. If I have time I may go back and caulk some of the seams, but this is really not something that is necessary (I'm a perfectionist). I should also mention that we applied these to some VERY rough ceiling areas. By adjusting the amount of adhesive, I was able to make the installation even. I would definitely recommend these to anyone wanting to add some class to an ugly popcorn ceiling.
