Pillow cases came in a black box which rubbed off onto the pillow case which was in contact with the box's corners. Thankfully looks like a quick wash (which I planned to do anyway before using) removes the black. Otherwise well made. Good quality fabric that lends a slight sheen indicative of quality fibers.I do find the 3" border a bit puzzling as it is outside of the pillow's edge. So basically the edges flop around while in the inner center is firm and bolstered. I suppose I could stuff the edges but only for 3 of the four edges.

They come in a gift box. Why? Does anyone gift linens? In any case, they are great to the touch. With a high tread count, they feel almost satiny. Recommended.

These are nice pillow shams. They look great and are 100% cotton. They match a few different duvet covers that I already have. I like the grey border around the sham. They are well made with a pocket enclosure. I am happy with this purchase.

This box comes with 2, what I would call pillow shams. They are marketed as pillow cases but they are far bigger than your standard pillow case. The packaging is nice, the material is soft cotton. I did wash one in cold water and one in hot water to see if they shrunk. They did not shrink but they both became very wrinkled. If you wanted to use them as decorative shams, you'd probably have to iron after laundering. I liked the two tone color, tan and white. I took off one star because they are far too large for normal pillows. The full sham is 36" in length by 25.5" wide including the trim. The actual dimensions where your pillow fits is 19.5" wide by 29 3/4" in length which is quite a bit bigger than a standard bed pillow. You can see by the picture that there's several inches where the edge of the pillow is quite a bit smaller than the edging of the pillow covering. Over all they are nice but I would use them as a decorative pillow sham and not a traditional pillow case.

These pillow cases are so elegant! The quality is amazing and the material is soft. They fit my king pillows just right. The blue outline is soft beautiful and such a nice pop of color.

I got these to add a bit more sophistication to my bed set. I’ve been using a lot of cheaper pillow clothes and was hoping the high thread count would make these stand out. I find them scratchier than my older cheap pillow cases and I miss the silkier texture of my regular pillow cases. These however are way more stylish.

These are very nice pillow cases. The material is a very good quality and the stitching is done very well and without any defect I could detect. The thistle oxford color is well-represented by the product photos, more of a pale, somewhat grayish purple that leans toward a light lavender rather than pink. I was expecting them to be shinier because they are described as sateen, but they are not really what I consider to be sateen. They are more just a normal cotton pillowcase and sheet material which I actually prefer them to be. They are packaged in a nice box with ribbon, so they are ready to give as a gift if so desired. The price is maybe a bit high, but overly so considering the very nice quality.
