When I was a child, I had a friend who had one of these toy accordions, and I was so jealous of them. I finally got to fulfill that decades old dream and get my own, and I couldn't be happier with this one. It is simple, but it feels pretty sturdy, and it puts out a lovely little tune. It's a toy, so don't expect concert-quality music, but the sound is pretty decent, and it is relatively easy to use. It's very cute and a lot of fun to play. If you, like me, have always wanted to have one of these, I recommend this one in particular.

Although this is a child sized accordion, it actually works and sounds pretty darn good. The instructions are so-so, but that is to be expected.

Cute accordion toy. It is just the right size for littles, but still fun for the bigs. Great gift that is perfect for learning or pretend play. The folds are super durable and resist tearing. It's a super fun instrument.

This is a funny little toy accordion but it actually works and plays music. I couldn't really do much with it but it's pretty fun for the little one to play around with. There are buttons on it and it looks like it's the same as a real accordion, except this is small and kid sized. It actually is more difficult to play than I would have imagined haha. The instructions are meh, but you can check out any how to play accordion vid or website instead. Overall pretty fun if you kid likes to play around with instruments!

ASIN: B0DLSP37FM $43.99Series Children's Accordion - Fun Musical Toy for Toddlers and Beginners, 10-Key Mini Instrument,Gift for Boys and Girls (Blue)When I saw this, I thought "could this actually be a usable musical instrument?" To be sure, it is very small, light (easily lifted in one hand), very plastic, and limited in what notes it can produce. But the surprising answer is YES! This is not a toy, despite its listing. This is an actual musical instrument, and for the price and form factor, not a bad one, either. I can see this instrument being carried in a backpack for impromptu jamming, much the way I carry a pocket harmonica in my purse. You might want to find a small case (you could probably repurpose one intended for a gaming console) for it if you plan to carry it around a lot. I have one that's intended for a car jump-starter that looks like it might be just the right size with some added foam. So, the details:This is a "button accordion." Buttons are pushed perpendicular to the bellows. It's a diatonic, bisonoric instrument in the key of C, no sharps or flats. The 7 treble buttons play 14 notes, from Middle C (C4) to B below High C (B5). It has four base chords: C/D, G/A (plus an air valve) in a standard 1-V layout. The tone is bright and a bit reedy, appropriate for traditional folk, Irish, or dance music. It doesn't have a lot of dynamic range, but would be pleasant for back-porch play or jamming. For the money, and for what it is, this is a decent little instrument. I am not sure that I'd buy it for my kids (who are all grown now and were very destructive as children). It's pretty noisy as a toy and accordion bellows are not super tough. In the hands of an experienced musician, who could baby it, it could be quite functional and would be a great "walking around" instrument.

This is a mini accordion like 1/5th the scale of a full one BUT don't mistake it for just a toy, this thing can actually play pretty well and is good enough for a total beginner to learn the fundamentals of how an accordion works. You don't get have all the same function but it's definitely a good learning tool for a child OR a curious adult just be aware some strength is needed to operate. Also you have a limited air bladder so only short quick notes and fast playing is really the option here. Overall very well made and a quality gift for anyone young or old alike. A++ get it!

This is actually better made than I expected. I expected a very cheap toy, but this works and is pretty cool. Great for young kids to get their feet wet with accordions.
