I wore this as part of my costume for a Murder Mystery Dinner. It was really a fun accessory! I didn't brush it since I preferred the look after just shaking it out. The lights have three settings, and I used the steady light rather than blinking. The switch is in the center...a small box with a tiny button to depress for blinking, on, or off. It will be great to wear Christmas caroling or any outdoor evening walks.

This is more like a fur stole than a boa. It is fabric with very long fake fur. Also the fur changes direction in the middle. Which is strange.It doesn’t drape like a feather boa. I wasn’t able to use it for the project I wanted.But it is a nice stole. The control for the lights is tucked into a little pocket so it doesn’t get in the way.

Not itchy. Lights lasted 3 days. Probably will go longer, I turned it off after 3 days.

Although These are great for concerts. I wear these to walk the dog At night .. Yeah people tell out of cars “ R U going to Burning Man”. I laugh and say , nope just pretending to be a walking crosswalk. I love theses as I feel safe walking and FLASHY ! did I mention the leg warmers and gloves !
