We’ve lived in many homes where we’ve set up custom shelves and these are my favorite brackets so far. Most brackets are super bulky and take away from the shelf itself but these are as inconspicuous as they come. Great value and no issues with installation or stability.

As others have said, the brackets themselves are nice quality, but while the mounting hardware that is included with them says they work for drywall, they really don't. Even going into a stud with a pre-drilled hole, we broke the head off one of the screws. Depending on the type of screw, we found flat head size 7 or 8 at 2ish inches fits in these pretty well (but might not sit perfectly flush). And get your own drywall anchors if you are going into drywall. The brackets are too wide to have all 4 screws go into a stud.

We ordered a lot of these to hold up eight foot boards to make a big wall for thousands of CDs. They are solid and thick and sturdy. The screws are not super strong, so if you are holding up heavier things and wanting to put the screws into studs, make sure you drill a decent sized hole for the screw before putting it in the wall. I broke off a head of one the screws because I didn't drill a hold big enough for the screw to start with. Overall very pleased with these. Also note that the holes in the brackets are far apart, so if you need to put them into studs, only one side of the bracket is going to be able to go into a stud. The other one will have to go into drywall because they are wider than studs. We used the drywall anchor plastic things for one side of the screws, and then put the other screws into the studs and that worked well. For eight foot boards we used either three or four brackets depending on how solid we felt that the bracket was with the studs. We also used a laser thing and level to make sure we got everything at the right height.

strong and sturdy brackets. We replaced the provided screws with drywall screws to support the weight of the books and they worked great. Would definitely buy this length again!

These brackets are beautifully made. Used these on a couple of wooden scrap pieces to make storage shelves in my kitchen and they really enhanced the look of the shelves. Very durable with an heavy duty feel and still beautiful. Easy to install and a decent value for the price. Would recommend.

These brackets are fantastic. They are a very heavy gauge and much more sturdy than I expected. They are able to support a heavy duty shelf that I was thinking I couldn’t use but thanks to these brackets I was able to. You have the option to use these brackets face up or down. I used them so the wall mount was invisible and not seen like it would be if it was the other way, see the picture I took to better understand. My shelf looks so good and I’m so happy with it I’ve decided to extend it and make it much longer. I’ll be ordering more brackets to put more shelf up. I very highly recommend these brackets.

Unfortunately this item does not carry the weight advertised and started bending. Very disappointing had to go buy normal brackets from a local shop that did not bend.
