I make all of my own clothes and prefer PDF patterns. I decided to start having my patterns professionally printed whenever possible but that results in 36" X 48" pieces of paper and no good place to keep them. I don't like cutting them out, preferring to keep all the size lines intact. I prefer to trace over my patterns and make alterations on the tracings. Some people will fold their pro-printed patterns and store them in envelopes like traditional patterns. That's fine, but I don't like the creases when I'm tracing. Enter this storage tube!This tube is adjustable which is great since my patterns wouldn't fit at it's smallest configuration. It takes up little space in my sewing room. It's also light weight which is a plus since I use the strap to hang it on a hook. The patterns alone do get heavy after you have enough in the tube, if the tube itself was also heavy, I don't think my little 3M hook would love that. Right now this tube is more than big enough to store the patterns I've gotten around to professionally printing (about a dozen). I have lots of space to grow. When I eventually outgrow this it's priced well so I don't mind buying another and size wise storing two is hardly a burden.

What you see is what you get. It is exactly what I needed and I thought the white was a good change against all the black tubes architect students usually have. The fabric of the strap was frayed but it wasn’t that big of a deal for me

I needed something sturdy to hold some conference posters (36" x 48") and traveling by plane. This worked perfectly. It even managed an overhead bin on the flight with lots of other luggage and turbulence. It's light-weight, so easy to add to your carry-on. Flexible size makes it accommodating for your size needs. Overall, awesome for travel or other storage needs. Definitely recommend.

I bought this to take to an outdoor concert when I discovered the forecast was calling for rain. It arrived on time with Amazon Prime & it protected my poster from the rain . The lighter color made it easier for Security to see inside which resulted in less delay during the routine searches at the front gate.

I bought the tube for a poster with 48*48 inches size, and I need to extend it to the longest length.The material is firm and reliable.Just one disadvantage is the shoulder strap is not long enough for the 48 inch long, you can only hold it in hand rather than carry it on your back.But overall it is a satisfied purchase.

I bought this poster tube for an upcoming conference since the poster dimensions were larger than the typical 36" x 48" and thus needed an expandable tube that could a) handle various poster dimensions, and b) travel well. Luckily this tube seems to do both.I've looked at a lot of other poster tubes on Amazon, and a lot of people complain that their poster tube becomes flimsy when it is expanded or that it doesn't stay expanded and ends up crushing their poster when they're carrying it because the interlock unlocks on it's own.Granted I've only had this poster tube for less than a month, but this product seems sturdy enough for travel and the interlock appears pretty good/stiff. Fingers crossed that it continues to stay this way =)Hope this helps other to make a decision!
