Second pair of these I purchased. Excellent for the beach or as a bath sheet at home, very think.Washed them before use in warm water with just a cup of white vinegar, no detergent, to get the chemical softener put on at the factory out. They came out very soft and fluffy. Very little lint in the dryer after washing.

I bought these towels because I needed to replace my older towels (shower). I am larger in size, so I need something big enough to fit around me. “Bath sheets” can be hit or miss! Beach towels usually never disappoint! These definitely fall in my A+ Category! They are big enough to fit around me! They don’t really appear to be beach towels. They look more like bath sheets (although they could be used for both). They are nice and thick! Very absorbent! They go great with my bathroom decor! I’m very pleased!The only negative thing about them is the lint. You definitely want to wash them before using! Your first few uses of them do leave some lint residue behind, but it gets better each time you wash them, and they wash and dry great! I would definitely recommend!

It's not 700gsm, not even close. The towels are big, soft, washed well, and generally OK, except for they are thin. I am not returning them, but I disappointed. As for the price, for 700gsm it would be a deal. As they are--meh!

As a plus size woman it is hard to find towels to fit around me. These towels are large enough to wrap around my body and they are soft to the skin.It was quite the deal for 2 towels.

Big, soft. Washed up nicely, of course lint but thick towels will have that for the first couple of washes. Terrific for our new hot tub. Cover up nicely

I was excited to try the White Classic Beach Towels Oversized Cabana Stripe Cotton Bath Towel, but unfortunately, I wasn’t as impressed as I hoped. While the towel is large and the stripes look great, it’s not as plush or thick as advertised. After a few washes, it also lost some of its softness and didn’t absorb water as well as I expected. It’s still decent, but for the price, I was hoping for a more luxurious feel. Wouldn’t call it "luxury" plush—more like average quality.
