I have to return these because they don’t work for me, but I have to give them five stars because if you are the kind of person who likes to draw on cards and make prototypes, this would be great for you. I purchased card stickers and some laminate paper to go on top, but it was a horrible mess. I did not like the texture or having to put so many layers to get a prototype I would be better off, just printing my designs front and back on card stock. If they had a card, you could print directly on and a great easy to use template. This would be wonderful for people like me.

We decided to create our own deck of cards for a fun family game night. These are perfect. We used permanent markers, stamps, and even clued a onto a few. Exactly what we needed!

These cards are exactly as described. They are a hair smaller than Magic the Gathering cards and are a tad bit thicker. I only wish they were a tad bit stiffer.

I just received this today after trying out another brand that had a glossy surface and so far, I’m happy with my initial impression. There’s a glossy side and a matte side. The glossy side will accept sharpie, everything else smears or won’t show anything but indentations. The matte side is good. I added a photo of my sampling and the matte surface is absorbent enough to accept multiple pencils and pens. Pencils work, ball point pens work, sharpies definitely work, sharpie highlighters work too. I also tested it with my favorite pen, the uniball vision elite and I touched it about 3-5 minutes after writing and it slightly smeared. I think if I allow it to dry undisturbed for awhile, it may dry without smearing…but the sharpie ultra fine point writes in the thinness similar to the elite. Even color pencils will put color on this surface. Granted initially I tried to write with the color pencil and it didn’t produce any color. Pressing it down harder leaves indentation. But if I use a light touch to shade and fill color from color pencils, it works decent enough for that. Overall I’m pleased with it and it’s going to be fun making up my own cards with an artistic flare! Price point was good and the thickness of the card is good. It’s a standard playing card size, it would be great if there’s a larger version like the jumbo size playing cards or even larger like standard tarot card size.

Nice white, heavy-weight card stock, rounded corners, sturdy, feel great in your hands. Takes marker beautifully. One side coated, other side matte. Ok to write and draw on either side. I made spelling cards for my young grandson. See photos.Very satisfying to use!

The cards come with little packets which is awesome, they can be drawn on using sharpies, markers, and pencils. They’re awesome and I am using them to create a game! The only think I would suggest is to let dry because they do tend to smudge a bit.

These are sold as matte however only one side is! The other has a glossy finish that very hard to not get smudges on from pens and markers when running finger over dried inks.

Cute idea! Glad they had what I was looking for for options to be creative, I liked they came in individual card holder package. It stated most writing utensils worked on cards, the glossier side permanent marker did not go on well. But less glossier side once dry did well. Just be careful what you are using to write on them.

I love that this is a 4 pack of cards and each deck has its own packaging. Each of the 4 decks has 45 cards im the pack. They can be used as individual decks or combined to make a stack of flashcards very easily. They are very sturdy like playing cards and they are easy to write on with plain ink without smearing. The size is 2.5" x 3.5" and are held in the hand nicely. One side of the card is glossy, the other matte and they are easy to write on.I enjoy making inspiration decks out of these cards.

I used these as notecards to study for the MCAT. I love the texture - smooth, laminated, and glossy (but not as glossy as photo paper, which makes these cards well-balanced in their gloss level). One caveat, which is a mystery to me, that I’ve discovered is that fine-point and ultra-fine-point sharpies do smear, HOWEVER, standard sharpies do not smear at all if you let them sit for a few seconds. Standard ballpoint pens work perfectly fine on these cards. Gel pens and non-sharpie markers would smear. These are the size of a deck of playing cards. The boxes in which the cards come are great for storing completed study notecards, as you can write on the outside of the boxes to indicate the subjects of the flash cards inside. I have purchased several packs of these cards because I REALLY like them. They are exactly what I was looking for. I personally really enjoy the smooth, mildly-glossy texture on my hand. If you happen to be particularly sensitive to textures of paper, these are a great option.
