Exact match replacement for my Whirlpool oven. Original broiler element had burnt out, and I had the new replacement installed in less than 15 minutes. I did have to replace the screws as the heads were rather rusty --screw thread size was 8-32.

Just took a few minutes but the internal temperature gauge was another of the problems. I ordered that too afterward which fixed the problem

Worked as intended after I installed it. Do yourself and favor when and if you install this yourself. Once you loosen the screws at the top of the existing unit and it hangs down, Do NOT just yank it out. If you do and one of the electrical clamps that attaches to it gets caught on the metal around the opening, it will fall back down and disappear. Or if there is a lot of tension on the wire it is attached to, and the installer did not leave hardly any extra wire in there, the same thing will happen. In spite of having had this happen to me once before, it happened again on this one. I had two binder clips handy with the intention of attaching a clip to the wire and clamp after removal so neither would fall back down before I attached them to the new unit. It did NOT occur to me that one of the clamps would get hung on metal as I pulled it out and would still cause quite a problem. It took a few minutes to fish it back out. Sometimes you can do that, sometimes you can't. I really did not want to pull this thing out of the wall and take the back apart to get to that wire. Fortunately, there was enough extra wire in there, so I could fish it, pull it up to the opening and keep pulling till the clamp came back up to its intended spot.If I ever have to do this again, I will not only have clips on hand to attach to the wires once exposed, but I will have two pairs of needle-nosed pliers on hand to grab those clamps BEFORE I attempt to pull the existing unit out of the back of the oven. I will use the pliers to pull the clamps out and the wire will come with them. Then I will attach to binder clips to keep them in place.

I had to send my oven control board out for repair, as it had malfunctioned. After repair, one of the broiler coils was still not working, as I swapped the broiler coils in my double oven to verify it was the coil. It had damage that i had not previously noticed. So i bought this new broiler coil, using tape to keep wires from falling back in as others had mentioned online, and replaced the old coil. Now my double oven is fully functional again.
