Ordered this little extension for my other pull chain lamp. Works well. Color blends with ceiling lamp housing which is silver. Easy to attach to the existing chain. Looks good and handy, too.

Me sirvió para alargar la cadena para apagar un foco que estaba muy alto (quien vivía aquí antes al parecer sí le llegaba a la mini cadenita que tenía esa luz) y llevo meses usando la extensión y sí ha servido, no se ha desprendido, caído o movido.

I had a very short pull chain on the ceiling light so I decided to purchase one that was longer. I chose this one because it seemed nice and was a good price. I was very happy when I received it because it was just what I thought it would be. The only problem I had was the pull chain on the ceiling light had a little thing on the end which I which I was afraid to snip off fearing the whole chain that was attached to the ceiling fixture would fall apart. I needed to go the hardware store so I decided while i was there to buy a new screw in fixture and bought a very inexpensive chain there and asked him to attach it to the new fixture. He did the snipping off and attaching. When I arrived home I detached the inexpensive chain and attached the one that bought from Amazon which was not expensive and now I am completely happy.

Looks cheap but not as bad as an item from the dollar store. Not worth the cost of returning so I will continue to use it. It does have that brushed nickel effect but it doesn't quite match the shade. Like it, don't love it. Have brushed nickel throughout the house and this will suffice until we replace the ceiling fan. It's a simple enough design that it doesn't stand out or draw attention so the cheap look isn't too bad.
