It worked, but the bottom piece that covers the screws is plastic and doesn’t match the chrome finish. It looks cheap. We left it off.

This was the only option I could find for my fans with a 45 degree ceiling. Brushed nickel finish matched the fans. Easy to install. Seems to be high quality. I can't believe the fan manufacturers don't offer this equipment.

Everything you need is in the box. Worked great on my A-frame ceiling where I hung two ceiling fans that were not outfitted for an angled ceiling out of their box. This kit worked like a charm.

We bought a new ceiling fan for my mom for Christmas and could not install it without an adapter for her slanted ceiling. The remote receiver had to fit in the slot to make the fan operable and this did the trick. In case anyone else is trying to match an antique brass color this brushed nickel one was pretty close.

I had checked around for an 'angled' mount for a ceiling fan with a 36" down rod on a vaulted ceiling. It's a Hunter fan, but Hunter apparently doesn't manufacture or sell a mount for a 45 degree ceiling. I could be wrong about that, but I couldn't find any on line or at Home Depot, and certainly none in brushed nickel finish. Weird---as popular as brushed nickel has been for 10+ years, you'd think a large ceiling fan manufacturer like Hunter would have every accessory in every color and finished, but they do not. I checked reviews on line, and more than one reviewer said this was the one to use with a Hunter fan even though it's not a Hunter product. They were right. It will accept a Hunter down rod and even matches the color perfectly. This is the one to buy!

Ordered this for a Westinghouse fan after they instructed me that this product was the proper part for a non-flush mount. The part works. However the remote receiver does not properly fit into this product, causing it to sit offset a little and not fit snugly against the ceiling. Keeping it and most people will not know, but for those of us who are a bit OCD, it is an annoyance.Also, this is brushed nickel, but the little center trim piece is chrome. WTH? I reused the brushed nickel one from my fan, but you might not have that option.
