The powerful 2.4 GHz FJ-X3 S Wireless Trigger is used to control the FJ Wireless Flash System. It’s designed with a proprietary Sony hot shoe mount for compatibility with most Sony Cameras. See the compatibility chart for more details.

The FJ-X3 S mounts to a camera's hot shoe to wirelessly control multiple FJ400, FJ200, FJ80, and FJ-XR receivers. Get reliable wireless connectivity up to 985’ (300m) away with enhanced performance in high-interference locations like weddings and events. It runs on a long-lasting removable Lithium-ion battery.
User-Friendly Interface and Trigger Controls
The FJ-X3 S is designed with a large display, user-friendly menu, and multi-select control pad for making quick adjustments. Functions include TTL, High-Speed Sync, Freeze Sync, Front and Rear Curtain Sync, group and channel assignment, Group Exposure Compensation, TTL to Equivalent Manual, modeling lamp settings, and much more.
Versatile Mobile App for iOS and Android
The mobile app allows you to remotely adjust FJ Wireless flash settings via built-in Bluetooth. Using the app increases the number of groups with color-coding options for quick recognition. It also allows you to save lighting scenario settings and includes other time-saving features.
FJ-X3 S Compatibility
The FJ-X3 S trigger is compatible with most Sony cameras that have a hot shoe mount for manual mode operation. The following cameras provide TTL and HSS compatibility using the latest firmware update. Additional camera models are likely compatible and will be added to this list as they are tested and confirmed.

Works well. Offers the control I need. The buttons could be built better as they don’t always communicate with the unit. You have to press and wiggle from time to time to get a response. Pretty happy with the whole set from Westcott though.

I bought this product 5 weeks ago. I have used it 4 times and while on a shoot it just would not fire. Then I started getting errors that it’s not compatible with my Sony Camera which is weird considering that this trigger is the Sony Model.Last night the trigger got stuck on the camera’s hotshoe. It’s been a mess trying to remove it. I feel like e Guinea pig using this product. Unfortunately I will now have to buy the universal model. So that’s a $100 lost on a trigger.
