The area for a bottle is smaller than other similar brackets. A typical small water bottle fits but slightly larger specialty bottles are very tight and it’s hard to get them into the holder.

Well I can't say I have used these very much yet but I will say the two of them arrived on time and considering they were only 13 bucks I could not complain. The machine screws look of high quality and I don't think I'll have much of a problem. Not sure if these will take a huge water bottle but for pretty much a standard gatorade bottle it is fine. I have a much more expensive model that I use to carry a large water bottle I actually use this to carry my YouTube speaker while I'm riding, LOL. But you can't go wrong for the price.

I'm giving these 5 stars because they suit my need. Fits almost all water bottle types even the tall smart bottle sizes. Easy to install and good value. I feel like there's a sacrifice of durability for the lightweight factor.

Installed on my bike and it looks cool, love the color options to choose from. It isn’t the highest quality plastic and I feel that I may break it sometimes putting my bottle in. Overall, it’s cheap, pretty, and does the job.

I'll admit that I chose this mostly on the basis of cost and style. It was a low-cost solution and the black/red bottle holder matches my matte black and red trimmed Giant Defy 3 Aluxx perfectly. I originally got just one, and then ordered another because I was pleased with the initial product. I utilize 50 Strong red water bottles and these cages grip them TIGHT...not so much that it squeezes the bottle, but so much that the bottle coming out is definitely NOT going to jostle loose. If there is one mark against these cages based on my current bottles, it's that the grip is so tight it can be difficult to re-seat the bottle once you're done hydrating. I'm hoping that in time they loosen up a bit, but either way they are still more than serviceable for my needs.As a "pro tip", a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser does a great job of removing the logo/branding on these, if that meets your personal style.
