My son waited a month to “earn” this and when he finally got it the lock was broken. He’s 6 so this feature was one he was really looking forward to. Otherwise it’s great. Since he waited so long to get it he didn’t want to return it.

My 5 hear old loves his new little notebook ! Cute , clear images & pretty good stickers . Great pen !! Smooth , creamy texture to touch . Good size for kids . The lock has him feeling like James Bond lol he is just so cool with his little secrets lol great little set !

I'm going to be honest, I got this for myself, not for a child. I love sharks and I couldn't resist this cute little diary when I saw it!The diary is a bit larger than a standard paperback book. The cover is hard and is covered with cute little pictures of sharks. They're slightly raised which adds to the cuteness of the book. The lock is small and closes around two thin clasps. The keys are like small luggage keys. I had a little trouble getting the journal unlocked the first time because the keys were secured in with the lock. Once I got it open and got the keys free, it was OK. The pages inside the diary are of a nice, heavy stock. Each page has an area to note the day, date, and a short memo. This comes with two pages of stickers that are super cute. You have an alphabet then a bunch of cute cartoon shark stickers. You also get a quite pretty pen to go with your journal!The price for this is great and it would make an awesome gift for boys, girls, and adults--anyone who loves sharks, really.

Both grandsons love their journals. They write in them daily! I’m a happy Grams that they are able to write down their thoughts & feelings.
