We’re a family-owned business run by Maggie, Richard and Jayne Abdy with pewter-smithing in the blood. Jayne is our lead creative, she trained in metalwork design here in the City of Sheffield. She follows in the footsteps of skilled pewter craftsman, Arthur Richard Wentworth, who founded Wentworth Pewter in 1949.

Pewter possesses a unique combination of qualities. It retains its sheen, is hardwearing and is incredibly flexible to work with, making it the ideal material for developing and crafting new designs. It’s therefore no surprise that pewter has been in continuous use since the Bronze Age and is one of the world’s oldest manufacturing industries.

Engraving and Personalization
A wonderful way to personialise your gift
We offer an engraving service, Engrave with a personel message to make your gift extra special.
Ideal for Birthdays, retirements, anniversaries, wedding or friendship gifts. Perfect gift for a wine lover.
Each piece will be engraved by our skilled engraver, centralised and in proportion to the goblet. We use diamond engraving to create a really beautiful lasting finish.
Lead Free
Our Alloy is regularly tested and is food and drink safe.
It does not contain any Lead.
Pewter is an alloy of tin, copper and antimony.
Cleaning
Your pewter gift will retain its lustrous finish with the minimum of care:
If it has become dull, simply clean with a metal polish before you wash it. Always polish in straight lines for the best results. Wash it by hand in hot soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth
We do not recommend using a dishwasher as this can damage the metal.

The design and engraving is beautiful and elegant and will be perfect for our upcoming wedding on Oct 20th as we are partaking in the tradition of drinking from the quaich as well as hand fasting so this is Perfect.

I don't usually leave reviews on Amazon but:So surprised that this item was delivered the day after I ordered it! Fastest turnaround time possible.It came in a nice gift box (it seems like a lot of websites which offer these items ask you to pay an extra £6 or something for a box!)Also the best value (cheapest price) which I could find online for this kind of personalised item.Engraving was great, no issues at all, the gift was highly appreciated.Super happy overall.
