This little sander does a pretty good job. The oscillating part does not move as much as I expected. It does a nice job of sanding though. I like the variable speed and the interchangeable spindles. Very easy to do. It does make a lot of sanding dust. Seems well built and I look forward to using it more as I make my wooden toy cars. I bought it specifically for sanding the inside curves on my projects and it does a nice job of that.

The speed is good, the vacuum is ok.The issue is a little bit of pressure and the cylinder stops spinning. Totally defeats the purpose of the machine.Not a good. buy. I missed the return date, glat it wasn't overly expensive.

This product is awesome and much cheaper than table top models. I was looking for something to sand guitar necks and it needed to be small enough to fit on a small work bench. It has four different drum diameters and has variable speeds to handle delicate jobs. I highly recommend it.

WEN makes great tools. Have a large WEN rotary sander, to large sometimes this one fits the bill the othertimes. Free hand and also it mounts to the bench. Good Price Have Fun/ Laugh JOE

Don’t have room for the large bench top version? This is a great alternative. Clamps to the bench and works great. Awesome at getting rid of saw marks on end grain while keep the edge square. For the price and the size, I highly recommend!

I love this tool. Been wanting one for a while and finally jumped on it. It's not a necessity with so many spindle sanding options and attachments, but it works better and makes a big difference having a permanent tool. Especially at the price. Wen delivers again. The table has screws positioned in a way that makes me think you could easily build this into a table for a larger work area if you needed to. For smaller parts this can't be beat as is. For larger parts just take it off the table and use it in its portable form. The table is true to the spindle and it has plenty of power (so far).

Much more solid and sturdier than I expected for this price. I also purchased a 12 piece sanding tube selection at a discount when I purchased the tool. I already have a large belt grinder so needed a compact option. I will use the sander quite a bit to clean up the many little projects I work on in my shop. It's no bigger than drill gun and is super portable. The included table/bench mounting clamps fix this thing very firmly. This is a great and very useful tool for small change. At its lowest speed level, it's plenty fast to remove stock and is pretty quiet. It does get loud at its fastest setting. A++++ tool.

I needed to carve out a base for a floating urn and didn't want to use a Dremel. I already have a bench belt sander but could not get the precision I wanted. This worked beyond all expectations. I thought I might just be wasting my money by not buying the bigger tool. But this attaches to you table upside down and works much like a bench unit.Maybe in the future, I will legitimately have a need for the bench sander but I bet I will still be pulling this one out more often.

This is a quality product and I'm very satisfied with how long they last. (I will note that I clean them with a crepe block after each use - and sometimes during - which certainly contributes to their longevity).

Nice ergo friendly design and the motor is strong. The table top mounting feature is excellent.But, don't expect it to keep up with any kind of production. You spend more time changing out the sanding sleeves. It doesn't ossiculate far enough to fully use efficiently. I will continue to use it for certain pattern making templates; for that, it is handy and easy to use. Perhaps, buying better sanding sleeves will make it a more useful tool. I appreciated the price and the quality for some of my "lightweight" projects.
