- Using a screwdriver to tighten the screws of metal support first.
- Second,Putting the top and bottom rings together.( each ring is in three parts.)
- And pressing the top and bottom rings to the fabric via zip lock strips of plastic.
- Please make sure the front side of top ring is upside (the side which can see the metal screws is the front side) before put it on the shade of plastic grooves.)
- Then pressing the fabric again and remove the double-sided tape on one end of the shade and press the two together.
- Finally,Put the lampshade on your lamp,the five color and size are matches the most of lamp.

Reminder:
- The lampshade comes apart,had to be assembled. If you can not accept,do not buy it.

- The Fabric comes rolled up,Put a book on the end of fabric to make it spreaded when you install .
- Standard top ring with spider fitter requires a harp.(harp not include in package.)
Measuring lamp shades for table lamps
Most table lamps take a shade with a bottom diameter of 16" or less, unless the table lamp is especially tall. "Mini" table lamps will need a much smaller shade.
Measure the lamp's height from the bottom of the base to just below the bulb socket. Try to find a lampshade with a bottom width approximately equal to this measurement.
A good height for lamp shades for table lamps is about 3/4 of the width of the shade, or 3/4 the height of the base up to the socket.
You'll want to make sure that when the lampshade is positioned on the lamp, it will be tall enough to cover the top of the lamp fitter, and also hide the hardware, socket and part of the neck of the lamp base. When you view the lamp from the side you shouldn't see the hardware parts.
Measuring lamp shades for floor lamps
Floor lamps take a shade with a bottom diameter of 13", 14", 16" or 18" or larger. Similar rules apply as for table lamp shades, where the shade needs to be tall enough to cover the hardware so that you don't see the lamp socket or fitter from the side.
Floor lamps typically require a slightly larger shade than table lamps. Also due to the height of the lamp, they tend to look better with a drum or floor-style shade. A floor shade is almost a drum shade, except the sides are slightly slanted. This shape complements the proportions of the floor lamp.

Linen is all the rage. A Linen lamp shade suits many modern homes where beige linen and light browns provide a soft, comforting and nurturing environment. Linen shades can complement well with brown furniture or perhaps a beige couch. Often a linen lamp shade will complement a fancy decorated lamp base well.

These shades have been a nightmare. Almost impossible to put together. One gas fallen apart three times a d finally broke in three pieces. Can’t believe they charge this much for this junk. Shouldn’t be allowed on Amazon. Worst product i have encountered.

An extremely high quality lamp shade.Assembly was very easy, with just a basic minimum skill level.The instructions were very straightforward, and the components were all top notch.Just be aware that if you handle the metal too much .. a bit of color will get on your hands and may transfer onto the cover.If you wipe the metal components with a paper towel first .. you will have zero problem. Just wash your hands after you assemble the metal hoops.AND THESE LAMP SHADES LOOK AMAZING .. especially at this price point !Don't sit around and look at damaged, yellowed, brittle, dirty lampshades any longer. You now can have amazing looking and amazing quality at a bargain price.Go for it .. you won't be disappointed. You will be very very happy 😊 with your purchase. Cheers

For the price, it looks great. It was fairly easy to assemble and I just used some e6000 to secure it as suggested by other reviews. Its hard to find shades this big anywhere since it's a vintage lamp. I'm overall very satisfied.

I wasn't sure if the I could put this together but it's as easy as closing a zip lock baggie, even easier than some of those! Great price compared to other shades this color of teal blue, like 1/2 the price. It's so pretty & updated my old lampshade inherited from my Mom.

First of all, I can understand why they would want to save money by shipping these lampshades unassembled. But in exchange for their increased profits, it better be easy to assemble. And it’s not.The tension in the rim is so great that it is really hard to keep the thing together and stop it from popping apart while you are trying to wrap the canvas surround it. Finally, the glue will not hold. Even if you use that plastic thingy they sent, I am getting sick and tired of putting edges of lampshade back together over and over again because the adhesive strip won’t hold.When it pops apart, you try and reassemble the whole thing together again and therebthe rim goes popping out of the joint again. If it was working, then it would be great, but it doesn’t.They need to go ahead and eat the cost of manufacturing this thing completely —then—shipping it to people so we don’t have to put the dang thing together every other day. Useless. For the effort I put into this stupid lampshade on a daily basis, they ought to be paying me… With benefits!

This lampshade was super easy to assemble; very sturdy and durable. It has a beige Heather color to it which makes it very classy. Would definitely buy another color or style for a different lamp. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

What I liked: the color and feel of the fabricWhat I did not like: Damaged contents, QC code unavailable, so I was not able to view the video.The package arrived undamaged. Contents of the package were damaged.I did not need a video, as the assembly is relatively straight-forward. I had a little trouble with the ziplock installation. When you set up one end, you may need a second pair of hands to hold the previously installed end while you work on the other.Unfortunately, as you see in the pictures, two of the "top" inserts arrived broken.I obtained the base at Goodwill. I made the shade work with a little tape but felt it was a bit big for the base so I returned it. If I don't find another base that works better, I would chance trying to order this one again.

As several others have written in their review...I did realize this lampshade required assembly...but it's my fault for not reading reviews prior to purchase. For the price the lampshade is of adequate quality for the the lamp I needed it for. I LOVE the black/gold combination and it gives a nice warm glow when lit. The assembly is not difficult and I did watch the video prior to attempting and found it helpful...yes, it moves quickly so i kept pausing it but all in all it took me about 10 minutes to get it all together. Lampshades are ridiculously expensive and this one is of decent quality for the price...not sure if it is fabric? but it is a good buy for the price. My only complaint....as others have mentioned as well...is that the metal piece on the top of the lamp that goes on the harp is SO thick I could barely get a finial to attach and I tried several that I had...may have to just find a nut to fit more securely....also, another reviewer mentioned the white hardware on the black/gold lamp was annoying so she spray painted it gold...i may do something along those lines as it is quite noticeable but for now it works. Would definitely buy more of these shades for the quality and price point....plus it was kind of a fun project to put together!!

I bought this shade because I searched everywhere to find one but just couldn’t find the right size. I have never tried to assemble one but I thought that I could get my husband to assemble it, well my husband refused said that I never should have bought it. I took it to my brother- in-law and he agreed to assemble it for me. I picked it up put it in my car and by the time I got home, I opened the car door to get it out of the back seat and to my surprise the thing had fallen apart!!! My brother-in- law told me to bring it back. This time he bought some gorilla glue and he promised me that this time it would not fall apart. He also told me that he used paper clips to hold it in place as he glued it together. I have not had any more problems and I have no regrets of buying it. The lamp shade is just perfect and I would buy it again and take it to my brother-in-law and have him to put it together.
