It works for my needs. I have a pretty heavy gate that I open once per week and it works fine. This is not a high quality item. If I had a heavy gate used everyday I’d choose something better.

Works great. Heavy duty hinges. The only thing that needs upgrade is to center the ball bearing, but for the price, I would highly recommended it.

I was building a spare tire carrier that swings out of the way of the tailgate. After welding on these hinges, they were incredibly loose and floppy. I'm sure they would be fine for a build that requires two hinges, but the tolerances were not tight enough to use only one. I was not impressed with these hinges at all. I would recommend finding a local metal fabrication shop and searching for hardware there.
