Bought these for a pajama day at school for my 1st grader. She loves them, they're comfortable and fit great . I washed before hand on gentle cycle and line dried with no shrinking, pilling or fraying however when she got home from school there was noticeable fraying around the button holes and edges. It wasnt terrible but it was noticeable. I'm sure that a full school day is more wear and tear than they would get just being worn to bed but I expect these to be looking a bit rough by summers end. In the meantime time I'll singe the frayed edges and hope for the best
